It was nice , but needs some upgrades in the rooms, the curtains and the furniture is OLD, and the bed was not the most comfortable. We still had good time.

The hotel is situated in the mountains. We travelled here by the vintage narrow mountain train and arrived at a derelict train station. I contacted the hotel who kindly organised a taxi collection for us. The hotel is clean and the room was really nice and the bed is comfortable. I like the fact the hotel provide a bowl of fresh fruit in the room. The hot spring pools were lovely and great they stay open until 8pm. The restaurant food was really nice and also reasonably priced. The breakfast offered was excellent with a great selection of food. Room for improvement - perhaps offer flip-flops instead of slippers in rooms for the pool. The slippers got soaking wet! My friend is not overly large but the dressing gown did not fit her. She had to ask for a larger size which she found very embarrassing. Perhaps provide larger gowns as you really need a gown that covers you when you come out of the water as it’s cold outside.

The receptionist was very kind and accommodating. We had a small incident, and after sharing with her, she went beyond our expectations to make our stay comfortable. I can’t say enough how caring she was. The rental of golf equipment was a bit pricey, and I would have expected to have a bit better price for guest of the hotel, but that wasn’t the case. Of course, for longer stay, it is worth getting your own equipment. However, for us, it was unexpected decision to visit, so no gold equipment planed in advance. It is truly lovely place to spent some quality time with family and friends in otherwise hot weather elsewhere in the country. Perfect place to escape the heat with some perfect mountain view.
