On the ground floor there is now a large living/dining room with kitchen, where the pub used to be. Right next to it is the former small hall, which is now used as a dining room. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and WC, a guest WC and a large cloakroom. On the upper floor of the guest house there are nine bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and WC. The rooms are designed as multi-bed rooms, with double beds, bunk beds, single beds and children's beds. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and all have their own style. Famous visitors were also taken into account when designing the rooms. In the attic there is a large living room, a playroom for small children and four further bedrooms and a bathroom. In the coach house in the side wing, there are a total of four beds in one bedroom - like in a dormitory, side by side. There is also a living room with a wood-burning stove, a small kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom with a shower and WC. A total of 15 cosy bedrooms with over 30 beds are available. We offer 3 single rooms, 6 double rooms, 4 three-bed rooms and 2 four-bed rooms. You are also welcome to use the sofa bed in the living room of the coach house. In the large inner courtyard there is a large terrace with plenty of seating and a large charcoal barbecue for cosy barbecue evenings. Of course, there are plenty of parking spaces in front of and next to the holiday home. The historic farmstead has been used in many different ways over its long history, for example as a manor with livestock, as a stagecoach station, as an inn, guesthouse, grocer's shop and now as a holiday home. It has now been adapted to meet the modern requirements of a group home. Rodershausen is a typical Eifel village with around 160 inhabitants. It lies 500 metres above sea level, above the Our, surrounded by forests and meadows. Nearby, around 10 kilometres away, there are outdoor swimming pools in Neuerburg, Körperich and Vianden. Just 15 km away is the AquaNat'Our Piscine Parc Hosingen with indoor adventure pool, sauna world and fitness area. The holiday home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood. It must be quiet outside from 11 pm. A party in the house is possible, but the windows should remain closed. The holiday home is not suitable for unaccompanied youth groups, young adults, stag parties and drinking parties. Wir fühlten uns ausgesprochen wohl, alles war perfekt vorbereitet (sogar Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffeefilter und das Haus war bereits vorgeheizt. Alles drei haben wir schon anders kennengelernt). Die Zimmer und die Betten waren sehr sauber, Bäder und Toiletten ausreichend vorhanden. Einziger ganz kleiner Nachteil war, dass es schwierig war, die ganze große Gruppe zum Essen in 1 Raum zu versammeln. Die Koordination über Herrn Faust war äußerst unproblematisch, sehr zeitnah und zuverlässig. Ein tolles Wochenende! ##### Jürgen N. Wir waren mit 17 Erwachsenen und 14 Kindern in der Unterkunft. Die Gemeinschaftsräume waren groß genug und auch die 2 Spülmaschinen waren top. Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Dominique C. 29 Dec 2018 #### parfaite pour passer un moment en groupe:fête, famille,... nous avons loué cette maison pour fêter les soixante dix ans de notre ainé. cette année, la date correspondait avec les vacances de Noël en France .Nous avions pu visiter la maison avant d'y accueillir nos invités: tout avait été bien expliqué. il n'y avait donc aucune surprise lors de notre arrivée: la clé est à l'endroit dit, les lampes, les frigos fonctionnent, les locaux (cuisine, salles à manger, chambres, toilettes,..) sont propres . les places de parking sont largement suffisantes. des sorties sont facilement réalisables en une demi journée: Vianden et son château, Clervaux et son château, Bittburg et sa brasserie, Diekirch sans oublier les promenades apéritives ou digestives dans et autour du village. bref, une ancienne maison de vie(on reconnait encore la salle de restaurant et le corps de ferme) qui est devenue une belle maison d'accueil. Alle Zimmer waren nett eingerichtet und genügend Toiletten und Duschen ließen keine Wartezeiten aufkommem. Zwei grosse Aufenthaltsräume boten allen genügend Platz zum Essen wie auch zur Unterhaltung. In der Küche fehlte nichts; sogar ein extra großer Getränkekühlschrank war vorhanden. Auch der Grill im Hof wurde genutzt sowie der nahegelegene Spielplatz. Als Ausflugsziel kann man das hübsch gelegene luxemburgische Städtchen Vianden mit seiner sehenswerten Burg empfehlen. ##### Kurt B. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und hat eine tolle Aufteilung. Wir würden es nicht nur weiterempfehlen, sondern planen bereits unser Familienwochenende 2019 erneut in diesem Haus. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut eingerichtet, für uns war das Highlight die offene Küche, diese erlaubte es uns nicht abgeschieden in der Küche zu sein, sondern das alle an dem Wochenende teilhatten.
