Beautiful view! Wonderful host! First visit to Europe. We were there to hike the Dolomites, about an hour’s drive. Last day we did find a beautiful hike that was much closer. You really can’t go wrong in this area. The property is in a cute farm neighborhood located on a mountainside. The barn is across the parking areas. Houses and barns clustered together. This is typical for the area. The place was immaculate! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed- we didn’t cook. Ate out. The only thing lacking for us- would be a microwave. (But I don’t think they are used that much in Europe as none of the places we stayed at had them.) There is no AC - again common to the area. The Europeans are more accepting of that. We were there during a heat wave- and with the windows open at night it would cool down. There is no washer/dryer in the unit itself. But the host will gladly do your wash for a small fee. Which is very convenient because you are on vacation, who wants to do wash?I loved our host. Stephanie & her family were wonderful. Loved talking about her life on the farm (speaks some English). Usually don’t stay at places where the hosts live onsite. Maybe an American thing. So glad I did! Traveling w/ my daughter in a foreign country. If we went missing - someone would know. (Area is very safe)Took a few days to reply back on this site. Running a barn, raising kids- she is very busy. Be patient. Darüber hinaus täglich frische Milch und Eier. Die Kinder hatten auf dem Bauernhof viel zu entdecken und konnten sich bei Abreise kaum trennen. Besonders unserem kleinen Sohn hat es hier super gefallen. Mit Kühen, Ziegen, Hühnern Katzen und Hund sowie einem tollen Spielplatz wird es nie langweilig. Vielen Dank an die super nette und zuvorkommende Familie Stampfl für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wir durften unseren Urlaub in einer wunderschönen, sehr komfortablen und äußerst gepflegten Ferienwohnung verbringen. Wir haben uns wirklich rundum wohl gefühlt! Von dem riesigen Balkon hat man einen grandiosen Blick in die Berge, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Bett ist ausgesprochen bequem und das Bad sehr modern. Wir haben von hier aus mit dem Auto diverse Ziele angesteuert (bspw. Brixen, Bozen, Meran oder diverse Freilichtmuseen), wofür die Wohnung der ideale Ausgangspunkt war. Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben sogar die AlmencardPlus erhalten, die die Nutzung öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel und den Besuch einer Vielzahl von Museen erlaubt. Absolut zu empfehlen! ##### Nicole R. Alles da was man braucht. Ein riesiger Balkon, Essecke mit Bergblick, modernes Bad, schönes Holzbett. Wir waren begeistert. Von Gifen aus kann man auch gleich mit ein paar Wanderungen starten, z.B zur Rodenecker Alm. Zum Einkaufen und für größere Ausflüge/Wanderungen braucht man das Auto. Man ist aber schnell in Meransen und Mühlbach (ca. 10 min). Wir haben Tickets erhalten mit denen wir alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und die Seilbahnen umsonst nutzen konnten. La posizione è strategica, vicino a Bressanone, Vipiteno e Brunico. Il posto è tranquillo, gli appartamenti sono belli, comodi e pulitissimi. Es war unsere 1\. Urlaub in Südtirol und für unsere Ausflüge und Wanderungen der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Das Vermieterehepaar war sehr nett und freundlich und hatte immer Zeit für Fragen. Januar ein kleines Kälbchen, die kleine Sissy, zur Welt!!! Unsere Kinder waren aus dem Häuschen, so wie sie es praktisch die ganze Woche über waren: einfach alles war super: großes, sehr sauberes Appartement, super-nette Hausherrin Steffi, super-geduldiger Bauer Hannes und super-süßer kleiner Andreas, selbst der Hofhund Leila ist super-brav. Kurzum: ein perfekter Familien-Urlaub !!!
