Pleasant House has been beautifully renovated, retaining its old-world charm that features 14-foot ceilings, large windows, and big rooms. Modern updates include updated baths, windows, refinished hardwood floors, walls, and woodwork. The house is perfectly situated just a short walk to Rockport Harbor, two beaches, restaurants, galleries, shops, and the world-renowned Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center. This is the spacious and perfectly located Rockport vacation home you have been looking for. Pleasant House in Rockport has two living areas -- a family room with a large flat-screen Smart TV (with a complimentary Netflix account) and plenty of comfy seating, and a living room with large windows and a sectional sofa. The formal dining room seats at least 10, and the large eat-in kitchen has a large butcher block center island, fine Silestone counters, a dishwasher, and a washer & dryer. Off of the kitchen is a sunny, air-conditioned guest suite with a queen bed and ensuite full bath with shower. Also accessible from the kitchen is one of the best features of the house -- a huge screened porch that serves as another living area, game area and shady place to eat and relax. To get to the second floor, you have your choice of two staircases – the formal and gorgeous antique spiral, or the back stairs from the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room was spacious. Everyone was able to have their own bathroom, which allowed for privacy.
