We had a great time staying at Vista Retreat. The property was convenient to the places we wanted to go in Hocking Hills. The neighbor goat and pony were a pleasant surprise. My only critique would be for the home to have a Keurig instead of a traditional coffee maker.

Not so gracious owners/neighbors. They watch you with cameras &evidently have neighbors spying to try to catch you doing something. My family & I stayed there for wedding in Hocking Hills.My grandson(age 27)& I the grandma rented the house.Other family of the wedding party were close by.They were mostly my children & grandchildren.We had a family grill out dinner first night due to my kids having limited funds to eat out or buy groceries.It was outside.Mind you there is a ton of acreage.We were contacted by host that the owners had reports we were having a “party” with 35 people & 15 cars & were not allowed to.We had 17 grown adults & 8 cars in the gravel area. Driveway is huge.So, we had to ask our family to leave.I get that parties are not allowed.But these were all adults, not teenagers and some were senior citizens just trying to eat (OUTSIDE) I was assuming maximum occupancy meant people actually staying there.Then the day we were leaving my grandson walked down by the creek in the back of the house where it was pretty. He was on open acreage.No fence lines there, just taking pictures of the creek.The neighbor came out and threatened to call the police.He was evidently a foot on neighbors’ property.Look at grounds pics ton of unfenced land.I do not like rude unfriendly people so I will never go back or ever recommend especially this property.Has left a bad taste in my mouth.I have rented hundreds of properties over the years in lots of locations,this is a first.

This property has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The fenced-in yard was perfect for traveling with our dog. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable in a quiet country setting. We have stayed in many Vrbo rentals over the years, and this was one of the best!
