The house is an isolated house and is located on the hill above the medieval village of Roccatederighi which dominates the Grosseto plain. Lying in the garden beds, the medieval village divides the Maremma plain into two parts. On one side you can admire the sea with the Gulf of Follonica and beyond the Island of Elba and Corsica, on the other side the city of Grosseto and the island of Giglio. You can take long walks immersed in nature and in the silence of the forest, but also go into the alleys rich in history of the medieval fortress. In Roccatederighi you will find all the services of restaurants / pizzerias, bars, grocery stores, pharmacies, carabinieri, etc. The house is equipped with all comforts and the garden is equipped with sun beds, deck chairs, rocking chair, barbecue, table tennis and a large, shaded and sunny area. The house is located in a strategic area to reach cities of art such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, Rome, etc. and places of historical interest such as San Galgano and Massa Marittima. Es war fantastisch. Es war unser erster Urlaub in Italien. Die Anreise aus Ostfriesland ( Norddeutschland ) war zwar lang, dennoch hat sich diese Anfahrt gelohnt. Wir alle waren fasziniert von der Aussicht, ein Traum. Die Bilder die wir online gesehen haben, entsprachen tatsächlich der Realität. Ein Gedicht ist es, das Dorf Roccatederighi von oben zu sehen. Und noch schöner ist es am Abend, wenn dieses Dorf beleuchtet ist. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind echt toll. Die Auffahrt nach oben, ja die hat es ein wenig in sich, dennoch ist alles machbar. Der Service, seitens Riccardo ist phänomenal. Wir hatten ein großes Problem mit unserem Auto, es musste abgeschleppt werden, Probleme mit dem Motor. Riccardo war immer erreichbar und hatte uns zwei seiner Bekannten empfohlen, die sich das Auto ansehen könnten. So viele Tipps, Empfehlungen..... von Riccardo!!! So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Er ist nett, zuvorkommend und freundlich, kümmernd und immer in guter Absicht. Wir haben viel gesehen. Siena ist zu empfehlen, Roccatederighi, San Vincenzo, Volterra, Pisa.... Eine grandiose Aussicht UND vor allem ein sehr herzliches und liebevolles Ehepaar, denen das Objekt gehört. Freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Das Objekt hat alles, was man benötigt. Selbst bei über 30 Grad Außentemperatur, brauchten wir drinnen keine Klimaanlage. Im Ort bekommt man alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs. Ich habe bei der hohen Temperatur jeden Morgen die Blumen, Pflanzen und den Rasen gewässert, bevor das alles, mangels Regen, verbrennt. Das wäre zu schade. Auch wenn die Autofahrt recht lang ist, lohnt sich dieser Ort in allen Belangen. Hier passte ALLES. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder herkommen. Das war unser bester und schönster Urlaub, den wir erleben durften. Eine Empfehlung noch, sich auf alle Fälle die Stadt Siene zu besuchen. Man braucht, bis man alles gesehen hat, mehrere Tage. Aber es lohnt sich. Sehr alte Stadt, schöne Strassen und Geschichte. Wir konnten wegen unserer Hunde nicht allzu lange fern bleiben. Florenz wäre 2,5h Autofahrt entfernt. Aber dafür braucht man noch mehr Zeit und Aufwendung. Die Stadt Grosseto ist ebenfalls mehrer besuche Wert UND wenn das Wetter mitspielt, den Strand besuchen. Dabei haben wir die Maremma lieben gelernt. Riccardo ist einer der besten Gastgeber den wir in diesen Jahren kennengelernt haben. Er vermietet ein wunderbares Bauernhaus oberhalb von Roccatederighi, das bestens geeignet ist, für Familienurlaube, um endlich wieder einmal Ruhe zu finden. Der Blick in das Tal, auf das Dorf und die Insel Elba ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Riccardo versorgt seine Gäste mit allen Informationen die für einen erlebnisreichen Urlaub notwendig sind. Darunter befinden sich auch kostbare Insider Tipps. Die sprachliche Verständigung ist dabei kein Problem. Man fühlt sich freundschaftlich aufgenommen und betreut. Das Haus und der Garten entsprechen der Beschreibung, es war sehr sauber und gepflegt und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist ein kleines Abenteuer, aber der Ausblick auf Roccatederighi und Umgebung, das Meer und die Inseln Elba und Korsika ist traumhaft schön, nicht nur bei Sonnenschein. Riccardo, Roberta und ihre Familie sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, haben uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Eiscafés gegeben und waren für jede Frage stets erreichbar. Die Maremma als Urlaubsregion hat uns sehr gefallen, wir haben interessante Orte entdeckt und kommen gerne wieder. Ganz herzlichen Dank! Wir haben den Standort und das Panorama sehr genossen, unser Hund hat sich in dem Garten und dem weitläufigen Gelände "pudelwohl" gefühlt. Spektakulärer Panoramablick über Landschaft und Meer bis Elba, manchmal auch Korsika. Angenehmes, geräumiges Haus, Einrichtung traditionell. Bad und Küche einfach, aber funktionell ausgestattet. Cafetière Italienne. WiFi Ok, Mobilfunk -/-. Naturnaher Garten, gepflegt, mit mehreren schönen Sitzplätzen, immer mit Aussicht. Feigen direkt am Frühstückstisch. Nachbarhaus direkt angebaut, aber komplett abgetrennt und praktisch unsichtbar, mit eigener Zufahrt. Wir durften hier eine Woche im September verbringen und haben dabei vergessen, auch mal ans Meer zu fahren. Im Dorf gab es alles, was wir brauchten. Mindestens zwei kleine Restaurants mit exzellenter traditioneller Küche und ein weiteres mit etwas modernerem Anspruch. Außerdem auch Bäcker, Metzger, Gemüseladen und kleiner Supermarkt. Unsere Border-Collie-Hündin hat die unbegrenzte Bewegungsfreiheit sichtlich genossen, blieb aber immer in Rufweite. Unsere Gastgeber Roberta und Ricardo haben wir als sehr liebenswerte und jederzeit unaufdringlich hilfsbereite Menschen erlebt.
