The best time to go to Robles, Boyacá, Colombia, is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to March and again from July to August. This period offers the most pleasant weather for exploring the region.During these months, you can expect less rainfall and more sunshine, making outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and exploring the coffee plantations much more enjoyable. The drier conditions also mean the roads and trails are generally in better condition, which is a plus for those looking to venture further afield. For those planning to visit around the Christmas and New Year period, booking your accommodation and any tours well in advance is highly recommended. This is a popular time for both international and domestic visitors, so availability can be limited, and prices might be slightly higher. Similarly, the July to August window aligns with many European and North American summer holidays, so early planning is a good idea then too.If you're less concerned about consistently sunny weather and prefer to avoid the peak tourist crowds, the shoulder seasons – April to June and September to November – can also be a good option. You'll likely encounter more rain during these times, but you'll also find fewer visitors and potentially better deals on accommodation and flights.
