Magnificent Property!
Facilities and location are 5 star however check in process with Holiday Stay Co could be better. Magnificent place and always very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous setting
Stayed for three nights to relax and do as little as possible. This place was the perfect choice. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable and relaxing. The gardens are stunning and surrounds as well as the pool. I bought all my own food but it is not far back into Robertson to pick up supplies less then 10 minutes. Will definitely be back again thank you David and David for sharing your beautiful estate.

Wonderful getaway
We had a wonderful getaway with our children on this property. The grounds and the house was wonderful. David welcomed us on arrival and made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing. Very picturesque Everything was perfect
The property was absolutely amazing. David made us feel very welcomed. The gardens and surrounds looked wonderful even in the tough weather conditions. My kids loved every moment of our stay. Thank you again David for a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back again.

We stayed as two families with small kids. David was good at writing back to me to get slightly earlier checkin. The house is located on a huge acreage with beautiful gardens, some animals and a nice looking pool. The house you get is in a small dark wing of the main mansion that is locked off and the windows are locked which face internally so it was very cramped without air flowing freely. It has beautiful bedrooms however with nice bathrooms. The showers leak, the toilets clog and the living room is very small and dark. It should be noted that these little things impacted our overall rating as we were home alot as the timing of our trip was hampered by terrible bushfires and extreme heat so to find that there was no airconditioning or fans in the rooms was shocking to say the least when the temps were near 40. We asked for fans as we could not even sleep it was so hot inside. The third bedroom we paid for is up a steep flight of stairs and was unuseable as it was so so hot (and hot air rises) so we all squeezed into the two bedrooms and as a result not great sleep for anyone. I would really like a refund for the third unused room. The pool was also extremely sooty and very green, we believe at least for our stay it should have been cleaned really thoroughly for the kids to play in for a couple of days. We had to ask for a few of these basic things like fans, a broom/vacuum to try to make the stay comfortable. It was a nice stay in a nice spot isolated from the rest of the tiny town, but there needs to be significant improvements to the home and facilities to justify the steep price point.

The owner spoke to you advising it would be best to postpone your stay due to the Bush fires but unfortunately you insisted on coming when conditions could not have been worse. Windows were unable to be opened due to the smoke and the pool, which had been affected by bushfire fallout, had to be partially drained and topped up with spring water. It was unfortunate that you and your group arrived with more children than had been booked and consequently the total guest numbers exceeded the maximum for the property. The property is now under new management with Holiday Rental Specialists and we trust any prospective guest would call us to discuss any concerns elicited by this review and to discuss the appropriateness of the accommodation for your needs. Discerning travelers will see that the property has 74 Reviews with an average 4.9/5 star rating. Thank you

Magnificent Southern Highlands Getaway
Linden Hall, a truly magnificent, secluded country getaway set in the beautiful Southern Highlands. This amazing property would not be out of place amongst the luxurious villas of Tuscany. The booking process was seamless and David immediately replied to all my queries. We were met on arrival by a friendly housekeeper who went through everything. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Living spaces and bedrooms were luxuriously appointed with great attention to detail ensuring a very pleasant stay. The magnificent gardens are something to behold. We enjoyed strolling through the grounds enjoying the spring blossoms and display of colourful flowers. The overall setting, house and gardens place this high on our list of favourite places to stay. We will definitely return.

Highlands escape

Beautiful, quiet location and gardens
We stayed at Linden Hall for a weekend away with friends. Arriving for check in at 4pm David had the fire lit and lights on to create a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. The guest house is well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are so quiet and picturesque, with great views as well. We woke in the mornings to the sound of the water feature and birds singing in the courtyard which was extra special. Thanks again for a special weekend away David!

Girls Weekend
Great location, very relaxing and a lovely space for a weekend getaway. There were 4 of us so we had plenty of space. The host was very helpful with getting the fireplace going and then we just relaxed. Would highly recommend.

A hidden gem
Linden Hall is a true hidden gem. My wife and I live on the Central Coast and regularly meet up with our good friends from the Snowy Mountains at different locations. We stumbled across Linden Hall and we are so glad we did. It is a few minutes drive out of town on a large property with beautiful gardens and surrounds, yet handy to all the attractions of the Highlands, although you didn't feel the need to leave and explore elsewhere. The accommodation was outstanding. The bedrooms were large and well appointed and the living area was very comfortable and the log fire made for cosy nights catching up with our friends. You certainly didn't feel the need to eat out when Linden Hall is so welcoming. We stocked up and dined in both nights. We will definitely be back again.

A great place to stay for our family long weekend
The property is huge with large grounds and gardens, which our kids loved exploring, and feeding the animals. The guesthouse was great for our needs with private access and plenty of space. Very close to the waterfalls and only short drive back into Robertson for cafes and dinner. It’s a great property.

Enchanting atmosphere!
We appreciated a classic country environment. We walked through beautifully maintained private gardens, watched changing colours of magical sceneries of surrounds, encountered friendly animals and chilled in a swimming pool. With fully equipped kitchen and the barbecue, we enjoyed cooking and al fresco dining (we brought own paper towel, aluminium foil, cling wrap and cooking essentials). As it was in mid summer, we had a very hot weather. In the guest house, we ran both ceiling fan and floor fan to circulate air. Two bedrooms in downstairs were cool enough for a good night sleep. However in the bedroom of mezzanine level, unfortunately it was impossible to bring temperature down. Perhaps it happens only for a few days a year in S. Highlands, but could there be a better solution...? Thank you David for everything. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful and Relaxing
Staying at Linden Hall is always a wonderful experience. It’s impossible not to feel relaxed, whether you’re staying at the Poolhouse or at the Guesthouse. Robertson and surrounds are one of our favourite places.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely property and the rooms were extremely well appointed. Main criticisms were lack of basic staples in the kitchen considering the distance from any stores. e.g. no cooking oil, kitchen paper, washing machine but no washing powder,. Also not happy with used washing up cloths. One and only frypan in poor condition.

The best escape place
Linden hall is one of the best high quality escape place in the world. David is very kind to respond all the questions before and through the booking. The place was very beautiful with the luxury furniture and decoration as a guest house.
