Harrah's Cherokee Valley River – A Caesars Rewards Destination

"Valet was great when you get there. Not so much when you are leaving. Check-in and Check-out staff very exceptionally friendly. Black Jack dealers, and their managers, very friendly. Slots did not seem real loose on Sunday and Monday. Internet connections intermittent first day there, troublesome, not secure, Not Reliable. Connection, only, good on the second day. Drink machine on 1st floor takes money but gives no drink. Front desk returned money. Plenty of junk food restaurants (Not the stuff you would find at Whole foods or Sprouts, for the health conscious) but not alot of healthy food choices. Almost everything in plastics. including knives, spoons, and forks (for the microplastics conscious). Long waiting lines for Starbucks Coffee, most of the time. Cost is more than your local Starbucks. Food there basically the same way, cost wise, Room was very nice, great shower, bathroom, very comfortable bed. Latest movies on the room TV are $26.00 plus taxes. Limited TV channels. Overall good experience and I would go back. Take your own healthy food if it matters."

"I absolutely loved this place. It was recently purchased by new owners in the last couple of years I believe. And the improvements have been wonderful. The only thing I didn’t find that could be more up to par, the pool bar is lovely but not stocked as well as it could be with proper ice makers and blenders and it needs fans for the hot days and music. I kept waiting for it to open on the Dunday that I spent the whole day there , but it never did. The out door pavilion with the fire pit wasn’t very clean with stained furniture and could have used a good sweeping and the all the spider webs really need to be knocked down. It’s a wonderful place and I’m pleased to see it improved. I just hope it remains consistent. The room was very clean and I enjoyed the balcony. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was cereal, boiled eggs, sausage sandwiches, cereal and waffles. No pool or hot tub. There is no fridge or microwave in the single queen rooms. Website says available upon request, which is false. The only option was to upgrade at $15 more per day to have a room wirh fridge and microwave. Otherwise, rooms were clean, I would stay again."

"I loved the parking and the quaintness. The value for the money was definitely worth it. The room was very clean. The check in was seamless and I like that it is privately owned by a family. The downside is when I arrived the TV was on loud, I thought maybe housekeeping kept it on while cleaning but once I got completely moved in and settled I turned the TV off only to hear the screeching AC unit. I could have complained or asked to be moved but I’m disabled and the last thing I wanted to do is use my energy for either of those options. I would turn it off in the middle of the night when it was the coolest. I had noise cancelling headphones that helped a little. (Room 32 has a very loud AC). I hate to complain on a mini vacation but looking back I should have. I did leave a note in the room for management about the issue. My other only hiccup was when I was at the pool to relax it got busy by outsiders that didn’t stay in the motel. I don’t mind sharing a pool but it was just not relaxing because the pool is designed just for the occupancy of the motel. When I arrived the daughter of the owner was their with her daughter, they were very welcoming and nice and I was fine with that but when another family of 4 showed up it went to relaxing to annoying. This was only annoying because it was a solo trip if I would have had my child with me I wouldn’t have minded but this was a solo vacation for me to be kid free for a few days. I would stay here again :(value/location)"
