The location was great, right on the water with wonderful view. The motel is old, hasn’t been updated in a long time, rustic would be a good description. The inn keeper was informative, made suggestions for dining and worthwhile attractions but not always available. No food available on the premises, closest restaurants are a 15-20 minute drive.

We don't expect much when we check into a motel, but this one so exceeded our expectations that we were actually sad we couldn't stay more than one night. The enormous room had a couch, easy chairs, a nice table, and plenty of room for all of our luggage. The view of the bay could not have been nicer—what a wonderful surprise! We were very comfortable and enjoyed a relaxing evening on an otherwise very hectic trip. We highly recommend this charming hotel.

This was a great find for us while traveling the northeast coast of Maine. Fabulous view from the room. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The rooms are motel style and the office and restaurant are in a historical Victorian home. Staff very helpful with local information.

An unexpected hidden jewel! Run by a lovely, welcoming family. It's a traditional simple morel format, elevated by the attention to detail and the stunning views. Out room looked out over the water with the moon reflected, lobster boats, and just a lovely view. Beautiful bedding!! Great attention to detail. Convenient bedside (both sides) AC and USB outlets, which are so appreciated, if you've ever had to crawl under a bed or move it from the wall to access outlets. Can't wait to return!!

I cannot fault the owners for weather-related maintenance delays. The owners were more than accommodating. However, the property is dated. Also, the walkway in front of the units is painted a very nice, shiny red, and I almost slipped walking between our unit and car when it was wet after the rains (it was fine in the morning after it had dried). Its location is fantastic. Just put yourself back in the days of vacationing with mom and dad in the 1960s and you'll be fine!
