Kitchen was well-stocked with serving dishes, pans etc. for entertaining a crowd. Loved the fireplace and the game room downstairs! Coastal vacations was great as wel!. They responded quickly to one issue we had and were super friendly! A pleasure to deal with. So glad this house was pet friendly - thank you! Only suggestions for improvement: ice machine/water dispenser on fridge does not work- not a big deal for us but would have appreciated some plastic ice trays. Second oven doesn’t work either- wasn’t counting on it so not a problem but might be for someoneLastly the full mattress on the 3rd floor bunk bed was pretty awful. Lumpy and bed creaked. Other beds were great! Overall great place! Would love to visit in the summer!! The house is lovely - great fireplace, peaceful waterfront, quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately, a severe fruit fly infestation disrupted our stay. A few were present on arrival, but several days in, they multiplied rapidly and were everywhere—bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, even outside on the deck. We couldn’t prepare food for a couple days because of them. The management company responded but said it was a "nature-based nuisance" and offered no help beyond suggesting we go out and purchase traps ourselves. We did and removed hundreds of fruit flies. Maybe it’s seasonal, but we’ve stayed at beach rentals in October for years and never experienced anything like this. With better pest control, this could be a fantastic rental." Could be improved: king bed mattress (hard as a rock, woke up with sore backs every morning); kitchen fruit fly invasion (we battled them all week with our own saucer-vinegar traps); no instructions for door lock that would not lock from the inside/no deadbolt (called prop. mgmt to help secure on our arrival); electric receptacles in master bathroom went out 2 days before our departure (we alerted prop. mgt.); larger crab trap(s) needed--no way to catch anything with the miniscule traps provided." All 7 of us had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. This seems like a newer property and was lacking a few things based on other reviews so we came prepared. Overall we found plenty of supplies to get us by throughout the week. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle to provide ample peace and quiet but still close enough that we made it back to the island every morning.
