Newly remodeled quiet single-family house by the bay

"I was in great need of a retreat from city living. This certainly was out of the city!I wish I had realized ahead of time that in the middle of the week there would be nowhere nearby to get food. The restaurants mentioned weren't open on Tuesday/Wednesday when I was there. The closest grocery store was in Snow Hill a 20 min drive north and it was under renovation so inventory was limited. I had to drive to Berlin another 20 minutes north of Snow Hill. I could have gone south to Chincoteague instead, but that was a 30 minute drive. I probably would have had more options if I had chosen that route. If I had realized this I would have provisioned on my way south instead of having to make a special trip. The house was just fine. It was more house than I needed for my dog & myself. I ended up sleeping in the living room rather than going up to one of the bedrooms because it felt cozier since I was on my own. Some of the things were newly renovated, but all in all it wasn't. That doesn't bother me, it's just helpful to know ahead of time.I think if I had been with friends it would have been more fun. It felt a little lonely on my own.In reality, it was quiet, cool, acceptable and an easy get away. Thanks for the visit. I'm grateful."

"A lovely house that is well cared for. It's our third year in a row visiting with our now 4yo daughter and a couple friends and we hope to return next year. The Public Landing beach is perfect for families and small kids and never crowded. Thank you to James and Christina for providing such a nice place for us to rest and enjoy time away from DC."

"The kitchen was well stocked & had everything you would need. The place was beautiful & it was so relaxing to sit out on the deck in very comfortable chairs and watch the water & stars at night. There was a problem with the A/C when we checked in but we received an instant response when we notified them and a technician came out and replaced a part so it was up and running again in no time. Customer service was excellent. There was only 1 pack ‘n play but we only needed one so that worked out fine for us. I would definitely recommend staying here."
