Sunrise Harbor is appropriately named as the sunrise over the island hillsides and tropical harbor is truly breathtaking. The topography is stunning and the heavenly tropical breezes are so refreshing. All this visual and sensational paradise is available to you from your large private balcony overlooking the pristine bay and beautiful Caribbean Sea. Consider this beautifully appointed, very spacious 1800+ square foot luxury retreat as your private oasis. The property features 3 bedrooms total, of which two bedrooms are considered identical master suites with king size beds, 2 modern and stone cut bathrooms. Conveniences also include unlimited use of Wi-Fi internet (most other rentals require a re-purchase (re-load) card after the first few days of use). Also as an added convenience is a courtesy local phone. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is also within the unit so no need to send out or trips to a laundry mat for extended stays. Life is a breeze at our retreat as the almost constant trade winds off the mountains and over the harbor blend perfectly together to provide a remarkable natural breezeway throughout the entire condo. The passageway from the terrace routes directly through the entire unit coupled with advanced windows and louvered doors to keep the fresh island breezes flowing at between 12-18 miles an hour on average. Most guests comment this is one of the best features of the property. You can always keep your cool in our vacation retreat as we have just recently installed the highest rated central air conditioning available on the island. An ultra high efficiency, (22 seer) will keep you cool and comfortable always. The air conditioning system coupled with the modern double pain windows and sliding glass doors can bring down the temperature 8-10 degrees in under an hour. No other property can offer such comfort and efficiency. This retreat is ideally located within easy walking distance of all activities, restaurants, bars and beautiful beaches. Half-moon bay is just a quarter-mile away or a timed 6 minute short and very safe walk. Swim, snorkel or just stool along the pearl white sandy beach of world renowned Half Moon Bay in West End for a day of total delight. Shop in a vast variety of local quant stores dotting the main street of rustic West End. The local food offered in restaurants and street vendors is remarkable and we have heard over and over again by guests, "the best in the world". A world famous dive shop (Seagrape Plantation Dive Shop) is only 200 feet from the condo and offers reef diving just five minutes from the harbor for only $35 per dive. There is a nice breakfast/lunch restaurant across the street. Your comfort and peace of mind is paramount in our commitment to you. We have installed the very best water filtration system throughout the entire condo to ensure pure drinking water even in the bathrooms and showers so there is no need to be concerned about brushing your teeth, ice from the freezer or cooking a meal with our water from the kitchen sink. We also have available a "Zero Water" pitcher in the refrigerator as an added convenience as an additional source of absolutely pure drinking water. We have also installed a new 55 inch smart TV with a blue Ray DVD player and sound bar for the best possible quality entertainment. We have over 180 + Quality DVD and Blu-ray selections for the entire family. Adding to your entertainment experience is unlimited Internet/Wi-Fi. No need to run down to the store and add minutes to a chip card like many other units require. Other units also have hidden costs such as paying for your own electricity that they take out of your security deposit. Electricity is extremely expensive on the island and can cost up to $.40 a kilowatt hour. You will never receive an electric bill from us. Our retreat has everything you would need from hair blowers to a complete kitchen inventory of utensils. Mostly in Roatan we spent most of our trip under water but played many card games and even popped in a movie from the extensive collection. Donna met us at our checkin and gave us the tour. Easy to come and go as we please, excellent shampoo and conditioner, and had all the amenities of home. Kitchen was fully stocked and the previous guests even left us each a beer : ) Highly recommend for anyone staying in West End who wants to be a short walk removed from the nightlife. ##### Angelina Z. Sunrise Harbor, its owners and property manager are all amazing. I knew before going to Roatan that it would be lovely, based on my conversations with the owner. The location is quiet and about a 4 to 5 minute walk from the action of downtown West End. There are some amazing restaurants just steps from this property and a dive shop next door. We did have a bit of an issue with the A/C when we were there, but the owner response was immediate and their property manager handled the quick repair, all very appreciated. We fell in love with Roatan and can't wait to visit again next year! ##### Lori Y. Condo is good size with 3 Bedrooms and a beautiful view. Location is within short walk to several coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Be aware of the braid and massage scam ladies...Be assertive with No means No! Property has everything you could possibly need and then some. Rick and Laura are wonderful property managers to work with. Property manager on site is also awesome. Property is also in a safe area that is quiet plus a beautiful water view and swimming pool available. I highly recommend staying at this property. ##### Daniel C. The condo is in great condition and you can tell that it is the owner's personal vacation home and not just an income property. It was stocked with everything we could need. All the appliances were new when we arrived. And the owner's support and responsiveness were greatly appreciated. The location is a quick walk into West End and the road has now been paved. That was a big improvement over the pot holes from earlier years. Lots of rain during our two week stay in November so you may want to wait a month for sunnier days. Check out Cafe de Palo next door for a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or a happy hour drink. It is a hidden gem. We definitely recommend this great West End Condo. ##### Dean D. Stayed 14 nights in Nov 2023 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Marne g. 14 Mar 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful Home in Beautiful Roatan We arrived at our Sunrise which was going to be our home for a month....and what a home it was...We immediately feel in love with the beautiful view and especially the location.Very easy walking distance to town (we did it daily).The place itself had everything you needed and more.Donna our hostess was awesome and so friendly and effecient to anything and everything you needed.We had 5 adults the first 2 week and 6 adults the 2nd 2 weeks.Never felt like we are on top of each other.Used the pool often..may be cool for some but we are crazy Canadians.If you want a great place to eat...try the Stowaway next door...it is fantastic....A very organzied and well maintained place.Thank you Rick and Linda for having us in your wonderful home ##### Marne g. The water wasnt working and she was quick to get it taken care of as well as when the electricity went out too. It was quiet and accessible. It was nice not needing to have keys and using the punch pad for everyone to get into the condo.Theu had a lot of amenities like soap and body wash even sunscreen which was veru convenient. My family enjoyed their array of DVDs and the table was big enough for us to play cards. The pool was enhoyable. The only downside is the check in and out times were unclear and was asked if I could leave earlier than the posted check out time so they could let another guest check in sooner. I did decline and they respected that but I did not find the request very professional. Otherwise, the family really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place for future visits to the island. ##### Aaliyah G. The kitchen was well equipped. Communication with the owners was efficient and we found them to be proactive regarding transfers from the airport. Donna the manager was very responsive. All rooms were clean and as appeared in the pictures. Ample utensils were available for our use.As an extra treat, we got a close-up experience with the resident bats in the early morning hours. After the first morning's surprise, we looked forward to having them remind us of the surrounding nature.Communications from the hosts were excellent throughout our stay.
