It was breath taking! The owner was very nice and gave us rides from the ferry to the house and even to the airport for our departure. The views were amazing and we spent a lot of time on the beautiful patio. We did rent a car, as it is not walking distance to the beach or restaurants. Cruger, our host, was great. Be very careful of getting swindled by taxi drivers. They will try to really take you for a ride if you don’t know how much you should be paying for the very short ride into West End. It’s private and away from the beach up in the hills right in between West Bay and West End. Did not feel that the property was cleaned well. Dirt on floors and grime on toilets, sink, showers. Also, shower fixtures are missing. After staying on the island for a week, this VRBO (for the location) is likely better than other places you will be able to find. Cruger was easy to work with, he provided me with extra cleaning supplies and knocked off 100 to remedy the situation. Our flight was also delayed getting in and thus we lost our rental car reservation. Cruger was kind enough to offer a ride to a nearby restaurant. ##### Rachel O.
