It is an oasis of 8 privately owned homes directly on West Bay Beach on Roatan, Honduras. Each charming house was built in the traditional island style, with wood construction and spacious decks. All the houses are individually owned and therefore unique in their own charm and character. You will find each home fully furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests have access to unlimited wifi and there is cable TV in the living room. There are beach loungers on the beach for guest use. The quintessential Caribbean cottage, 100 paces from the water, Barefoot Bliss is located in West Bay Village an oasis of privately owned homes on West Bay Beach. Previously Flip Flops, Barefoot Bliss has new owners and a new name. Just a moments stroll from bars and restaurants. Private and convenient, this location is unbeatable, close to the amenities of West Bay Beach yet secluded and private surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Just 200 meters swim off the beach you will encounter amazing snorkelling & diving, exploring our reefs could not be easier! This home offers an island style charm all of its own. It has a master bedroom with king bed & en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom can be configured as two twins or a King and extra guests can be accommodated on a Tempurpedic queen sofa sleeper or a full size futon sofa. There is a second bathroom with twin sinks and large shower. Outdoors we have a screened porch with dining table, gas BBQ, grilling table and grill deck, a great place to kick back and grill under the stars. A large, open dining area adjoins the fully equipped kitchen which leads through to the large living room. Please note: The house will be undergoing renovation beginning in May, 2025\. Please contact us for reservations after this date. We will arrange your airport transfer to West Bay if you wish, we do so for the majority of our guests. Everything on West Bay Beach is within walking distance, so there is very little need for transport. Should guests want to leave West Bay, water taxis are available to West End and regular taxis are easily obtained. Home was clean, cool and comfortable. We slept well in the evenings. Mom liked sitting on the screened porch in the mornings listening to the birds and wind blowing through the trees. We would walk up to the front house where the rest of our family was staying for most of the day. Mom states she like it was quite back where we were, under all the beautiful trees.
