Plus, you can’t beat being under a 5-minute walk to the sand.However, a major heads-up for families: there is very little to do in the immediate area. Because the weather was too chilly to swim, we struggled significantly to keep our two teenagers entertained. We ended up driving 1.5 hours to Myrtle Beach just to find some activity.Bottom line: A lovely, high-quality home, but if you aren't spending every second on the beach, be prepared to drive a long way for any local "action.""
