Pros: - very clean and comfy - noticeably nicer than a hotel of the same chain that we stayed in the previous night - decent breakfast, with nice crispy bacon - quiet rooms with no noise heard from the nearby roads Cons: - have to drive to get to any restaurant

Ideal stay - wish I’d stayed longer than one night

We arrived after a very long drive, we were tired and cold but the welcome we had cheered us up!We were positively encouraged to partake of the hot choc and cookies and we felt our custom was valued. The room was nice and clean, it was comfortable and we had a phone call to check all was well. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices so we could be as healthy or greedy as we wanted

As we arrived at the house we knew we would enjoy our stay. It was well maintained and the front door and porch were tastefully decorated. We were welcomed by Chris who showed us around the property. Our room was spacious and attractive, the linen of high quality and the bathroom facilities good. Wonderful single night stay at this hotel, I was uncertain where to book when there is so much choice but would 100% stay here again. We had such a warm welcome from Zoe on reception who was helpful and patient with our questions. The room was perfect for us and our three children with plenty of space for bags (so much better than the Hyatt hotel we had stayed at in Washington the previous two nights at more than double the price). We give Steeles Tavern Inn the highest recommendation. Our hosts (Trey and Dana) gave us hospitality that was second to none. Going the extra mile to provide extra early breakfasts and thoughtfully cater for our every need. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and of very high quality, a real home from home. The three course breakfasts menus were exceptional and we enjoyed every minute of our 5 night stay. In every way superb.

Fantastic accommodation comprising of a king size bed, separate lounge area with 2 chairs and a TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A very comfortable arrangement and superbly situated for exploring Staunton and the surrounding area.
