We absolutely LOVED our stay here! This was our first trip to Cinque Terre and Italy overall we were blown away by the beauty and hospitality. Veronica was incredible from start to finish, arranging pickup of our luggage and parking our car upon arrival, providing welcome drinks and bruschetta, and providing breakfast before our departure. And she was just a message away if we had any questions or needed any tips during our stay! The suite was walking distance from the center of town and the train station so it was easy to jump from town to town. Already before we arrived, she contacted us to coordinate our arrival and make sure everything would go smoothly. It was raining heavily the day we arrived, but she was waiting in the pouring rain for us. She showed us our parking spot, then had someone take our luggage down to the loft, and then she guided us there. The loft is beautiful and modern, with a jacuzzi and a sauna! In Riomaggiore, very conveniently located, and with nice views of the town. The bed is comfortable. And Veronika was the most amazing and helpful host we have ever had in our travels, no exaggeration. She helped us plan our stay in Cinque Terre, recommended restaurants, and even booked for us the one we wanted to go to in the evening. And the next morning, the breakfast was divine! Anything we wanted, crepes, fresh fruit, bruschetta, eggs, you name it, she made it for us, and it was all delicious. We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon, and it was worth every penny. It’s essentially a private, one room bed and breakfast with your own personal concierge/host who did SO much— arranged a taxi to pick us up at the train station; made dinner reservations for us; provided tons of recommendations and was basically on call to answer questions via WhatsApp at any time. The private hot tub is amazing, there is a gorgeous view of the water from the front balcony, bed was super comfy, the sauna was incredible, the room was incredibly clean and quiet, and included endless snacks and drinks that were restocked daily. It should go without saying because of the location that you have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the suite from town, but that’s the case for just about anywhere in Cinque Terre! We particularly loved this location because it was away from the crowds and other tourists, and really gave us a little peek into what it would be like to actually live on Riomaggiore. Veronica, the most amazing host we have ever met kindly provided transport from La Spezia train station to the Suite. Her adorable son serves as her Porter. The suite itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The bed was larger than our King size at home and we slept so well during our 3 night stay. The bathroom is huge and includes a steam shower and sauna. There is also a hot tub, which is very private. We arranged for breakfast to be included and Veronica made sure we had more food than we could have ever imagined! In fact, she provided bags so that we could enjoy leftover Focaccia for our lunch while we hiked. She can answer any and all questions you may have and truly makes you feel like a member of her family. As for Riomaggorie, of the 5 cities of the Cinque Terra, Riomaggorie was our favorite. The harbor is exceptionally beautiful and you really get a feel for how residents from the area live. Plenty of restaurants to please any seafood or focaccia lover, and of course…the gelato! The ferry ride to the 5 cities is not to be missed as you get an amazing perspective from the sea. Our time spent in Riomaggorie was the most memorable of all our time spent in the beautiful country of Italy, and Veronica and her beautiful Terre Prime Suite were a big reason why. Room: 10/10 The room is large, clean, modern and bright! You have everything you could want and more- including Nespresso machine, mini fridge, hot water kettle, sauna, walk-in closet, additional luggage closet, jacuzzi and balcony! The room is beautifully curated and very comfortable with attention paid to every small detail. The room also comes stocked with beverages and snacks, which is all included in the price of the room. (Also, Salvatore Ferragamo bath products!) Hospitality: 10/10 The hospitality at Terra Prime Suite was by far the BEST from any hotel we stayed at. The owner and her husband offered to pick us up from the La Spezia train station and drive us into Riomaggiore so that we could avoid carrying our luggage up the stairs. After escorting us to our room she greeted us with fresh bruschetta, fruit and aperol spritz’s! This immediately transported us from travel mode into vacation mode! The owner communicated with us the whole time on WhatsApp. She was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly, helping us make the most out of our time in Cinque Terre. Overall - outstanding 10/10 experience. She picked us up at the train station and had our luggage delivered to our suite. The suite has a beautiful patio and sitting area with a great hot tub with total privacy. The suite is immaculate, great king size bed and you can choose from five different pillow types. In the suite is a beautiful bathroom with a sauna and steam room. The suite near the top of riomaggiore so it has beautiful views and it’s only a five minute walk to the train station. When we arrived Veronica brought us bruschetta and cocktails. She picked us up promptly at the train station in Le Spezia. She brought us to our room, and had her husband bring our luggage down. She showed us all the amenities. She offered us a later than normal check out and drove us back to our rental car at the end of our stay. We had a long day of hiking and she coordinated the in room massage at the end of the day at 8 and 9pm. The massage was very good and relaxing. After the massage Veronica served us bruschetta and mojitos. Sauna and steam room worked perfectly and were outstanding amenities. The money she saves you on transport and the added service is well worth the price. She is the definition of an amazing host. My wife is a flight attendant and we travel everywhere and this is one of the best experiences we will ever have. She is truly passionate about what she does.
