This was the best VRBO I’ve stayed in to date. The host was so incredible and even left us a surprise for our honeymoon upon check-in! The property was clean, updated, well maintained, had everything we needed (iron, bathroom soap, extra blankets, pillows, hair dryer, etc.), the Wi-Fi and the AC worked very well. This is just a short walk from the train station and was very easy to find. A huge plus to this property is that it is mostly on flat ground so no crazy stairs needed to get to your stay! A laundry mat is also right around the corner which was easy to use and made it very inexpensive to do our laundry on a two week trip to Italy. If you are coming to Cinque Terre I would HIGHLY recommend that you stay here! The host made our stay so easy and we hope to be back someday. 5 star stay! ##### Jen B. I didn't realize how nice it would be to stay in an apt. in Cinque Terre that didn't require stairs until I got here. We are physically fit but the amount of stairs and steep inclines you have to navigate all over the towns made coming home to this apt. a dream. For us it was worth sacrificing any view since we were only in the space to sleep and get ready for dinner. Location in Riomaggiore was great and Andrea was wonderful to work with. Instructions on how to find the apt from the train station were excellent. It is a tiny space but very updated and the bathroom is roomy. A few things made the apartment uniquely great: - it’s located at the second “level” of Riomaggiore, but there are no stairs needed to get from the train station to the apartment thanks to a town elevator. So many of the other apartments we saw while there had many many (many) stairs to get to, and were in crowded parts of town. - at the second level of town you are removed from much of the daytime tourists, and there is a wonderful coffee shop and also a restaurant where you can get great breakfast and meals with amazing views and relaxation. - Rio seems to be the best town :), lots of fun walks up and down the hills, one more hidden beach, but that’s just our impression. Andrea our host was very communicative, and even shared a video of how to get from the train to the apartment. Everything was clean and set up for us, and the apartment AC and internet worked well.
