The room was modern and very clean, and we had access to a rooftop terrace which was perfect for a morning and afternoon picnic. The location is in the middle of Riomaggiore, with easy access to the train and many restaurants. Roberto was an excellent host, and very flexible, who gave us all kinds of information about the area. Roberto and Sabrina are wonderful! They run a gorgeous hotel. The room we stayed in was very clean and modern looking (more like a suite than a room). Lots of space and windows keep the room bright and refreshing. Little flourishes like a tea set, wine glasses, and complimentary drinks & snacks differentiate them from other hotels. They have provided an information book that contains helpful facts about the local restaurants, train service, other Cinque Terre villages, and more. There is a rooftop deck that we never got to take advantage of, but would have been a great place to sit back and enjoy some wine after a long day exploring the other villages. But I think my favorite part of their hotel was the heavenly breakfast they provided. Home made baked breads/cakes/cookies (focaccia was divine!), fruits, cereals, fresh juice, meat & cheese platter.
