"I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good night sleep. On Sat night 2 July, a cafe/restaurant just a few yards from our room, had a band playing, drums/guitars.
Even with the windows closed, the whole room felt like it was shaking. This noise only stopped about 1am. I went to Hotel Reception, the front door was still open at this time (1am)and the noise was dreadful. In the morning, management apologies!"
"This privately run camping site is a gem of a find on the island of Elba. Unlike the more commercial campsites such as Eurocamp which are also twice as expensive, this campsite specialises in giving its guests a truly personal touch. Everybody that works there is so friendly and they went out of their way to help myself and children during our stay. The campsite is a few kilometres off the beaten track, and offers great views of the surrounding hills and beach. Having a car would be an advantage...

On the beach
"This property is beautiful! Your own private beach, aperitivo by the pool, buffet breakfast and multi course lunches and dinners. What more do you need? The rooms are pretty basic, but the views are incredible. Service is excellent and the staff is friendly. We would stay here again."
"The hotel is older but very well maintained. Easy walk to anything in town: cafe, restaurant, castle, beaches, shopping and churches. Lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast could have more cold options like fruit and vegetables. "
"Not sure why this place has a 4 star rating, a 3-star rating is being nice. While it’s close to the beach and the house keeping staff were amazing, that’s about all the nice things I can say. The check in staff was rude and basically threw us our key and didn’t explain anything. We got yelled at for parking near our room after being told to park there to unload our bags ourselves. While there is a private beach for the hotel, they don’t tell you beforehand hand that you have to pay to use it. $27 euro a day. You get no towels for the beach or the pool and if you ask for one it’s a big deal and they try and charge you $10 euro a day per towel and was a big hassle to even obtain one. The room had no plug ins near the bed to charge phones. The rooms were run down and very outdated. After traveling through many parts of Italy and having the best experience with hotel staff this left something to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Also not the place for a couple, it’s more geared toward families with small children. "
"The staff was very friendly. Francesca was extremely helpful with a medical issue my wife had. We will return. Take the bus into town to avoid taxi fees. Highly recommended. "
