"Amazing service and location!!! We felt like we had just checked into a 5-star hotel. Every staff member we spoke to during our stay was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We were given excellent advice on where to walk, which areas to explore, and how to find the main attractions. Honestly, you would think we were speaking to a local tour guide rather than hotel staff! Their recommendations made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with lovely finishing touches throughout. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden, which was such a relaxing place to sit, unwind and enjoy a meal. Fantastic service, beautiful surroundings and a great location."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Greeted upon arrival with a glass of port wine and provided information about the hotel and then taken to our room. We had a balcony with a river view that was beautiful, especially after dark with the surrounding lights. The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel set up transportation for us from the train station in Porto to the hotel, and also from the hotel to the airport on departure. A wonderful breakfast buffet was included with our stay, and also many options for made to order foods and beverages; as well as access to the wine room with mimosas, bloody marys, wine, and assorted meats and cheeses. As we had to head out so early for the airport for our return flights and would miss breakfast, we were each provided with a bag with pastries, meat and cheese, an apple, granola bar, and orange juice. The hotel has a very nice outdoor lounge overlooking the river etc. and we also enjoyed one of their wine bars. The best tour of our trip, a day in the Douro Valley, was booked through the hotel with Douro First Tours. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Porto. Wonderful staff and accommodations. Short walk to the Dom Luis bridge onto Gaia. And right outside hotel can get on boat for the 6 bridges tour."

Otherwise I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel and would stay again when we return to the beautiful city of Porto. "We came with a tour group and stayed longer on our own, most booked through tour company to stay longer, I was frustrated at check in after booking with Hotel.com the same category room and sending them message that we wanted same room, they were going to make us move. Finally agreed to same room then the maid said we were checking out so had to go to reception again, others had their cards denied and couldn’t get into room after tour over. They need to work on their computer system. A lovely view of city, great pool area, nice sitting area outside room. Not convenient if you want to spend a lot of time in downtown Porto but we enjoyed the break."
