"Overall place was nice, has an amazing view and it is really close to the national park room is big enough and it has a terrace where you can sit an enjoy the view. My only 2 things are: there was no tv which for kids is a must, and the road to get there has no public light, so once it is dark outside is not like you can walk around… car is fine though "

"Overall- I recommend this place if you are comfortable with shared spaces and have a car. But when I booked this, I thought it was a local hotel room next to a waterfall. It is not, it's a separated room in the back of someone's house and the national park with the waterfall is 15 min away driving. "Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)visited Costa Rica for 9 days. We stayed in 3 different Vrbos but this one was our favorite. Absolutely amazing, paradise on earth! The hosts are very responsive and kind, you will arrive to some eggs, milk, snacks and fruit waiting for you. The location is perfect and safe. "We stayed in the older part of the hotel and while the view was amazing, the walls were paper thin. You could hear complete conversations of the parties in the other rooms as well as any additional noises. The property is very close to Hanging Bridges Park and is within 20 minutes of any other food or items you may need."

"The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive."
