Very nice simple place to stay. Very clean. Very quiet. Breakfast was perfect. Bed was quite small and slightly too hard.

We really enjoyed the weekend at Alaind Lodge, great for the local area of Sneem where there are cafes, pubs and local attractions. The Lodge itself is spacious and has several areas where guests can relax, the manager is very welcoming and happy to chat and give advice about activities available.

We found all the staff in the hotel extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival a member of staff brought a very welcome cup of tea and slice of cake to our bedroom.

What a wonderful guest house staff really friendly and helpful. The view from the window was lovely with the rolling hills and the cows in the field breakfast was lovely. Would definitely go back.

This is very possibly the best place i have ever stayed! The entire place was immaculate. My room was gorgeous. The bed was enormous and super super comfy. The room felt brand new, all the decor was finished to SUCH a high standard. The bar down stairs was exactly what you would want from.an irish pub. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, who bent ovwr backwards to accomodate its patrons. Paul in particular was fantastic, tended to my every need. The pizzas, made on site, were out of this world....

The hotel was placed above and behind a small pub in the heart of the village. The room was excellent. Spacious and very comfortable.

Nice room above the very popular bar. Easy to park outside. Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Really nice, thriving small town with lots of shops and restaurants. Ideal location for doing the Ring of Kerry.

Incredible room and view. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast spread included in room price. Accessible walk into town which took 25-30mins. They took the time to show us their birds of prey even though it’s off season and not usually open. Overall would recommend.

This is a traditional hotel, very well run..

We stayed here for two nights whilst touring SW Ireland and the hotel is ideally situated for trips to both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Rooms and en suite bathrooms are of a good size with all the amenities a British traveller would expect - tea/coffee making and a hair dryer. The hotel bar is extremely popular with visitors and locals alike taking advantage of well priced and well cooked dining. My beef and Guinness pie on the first night was well packed with tasty beef. Had the most wonderful stay at Ballyseede castle. Felt totally relaxed with a lovely homely feel. Staff were so nice and food delicious. Lots of rooms to just hang out and enjoy some quiet time . Room was lovely and comfortable with great shower. Beautiful grounds for walking around and just enjoying the castle. Fantastic stay overall.

We were welcomed by Sheila, the co owner who offered tea beside the log fire on our arrival. We shared their lovely home for the booked 2 nights & then stayed an extra one! Breakfast was served by Sean & was at the time requested & of very high standard. On our return after dinner ( at local restaurants) there was an offer of tea or coffee each evening , no matter how late we were. Sean was very helpful & knowledgeable with planning our days out to the Ring of Kerry & evening meals
