They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! It was lovely to come back to the property after a day spent walking and enjoying local French cuisine. It is a peaceful place ideal for relaxing with a cold beer and a nice glass of wine on the patio. Come night time the sky often revealed an array of stars because there is very little light pollution in the area. Overall the property is well thought out, well equipped and finished to a good standard. Nicolas our host was very helpful and friendly in all our communications. He took the time to welcome us in person on our arrival and talk us through everything. We hope to visit again in the future. ##### Caroline N.
