There are 2 bedrooms, queen size bed in the lake-facing one and one queen and one twin bed in the other. From the bedroom and living room there are big sliding doors onto a large deck with amazing views of the lake with a large table, chairs, and lounge chairs, there is another 3 tiered deck enow with a fire-it, grill ad lounge chairs. Two docks for swimming into the lake and a gazebo to enjoy the beauty of the Landscape. There are solar panels on the roof. The house has 2 bathroom, one full and one half, there is a hairdryer, a washer and dryer in the basement. There is excellent WiFi and a smart tv. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. Coffee drip, keurig, nespresso machine, milk foamer, toaster, water keddle are on the counter top. There is an iron and board (basement)in one of the large closets and hangers and plenty of storage space for clothes. Heating and cooling is regulated with a thermostat and there are separate heaters in each room, central air conditioning. The land around the house is beautiful with may areas to sit, benches and hammock , about an acre right on the water. A tandem kayak, paddle board and kayak is available for water excursions and there is a row boat that accommodates 4\. I have life jackets, 2 adult, 2 children. The beautiful cedar dock gets you into the water, best entrance is the dock behind the gazebo to the right of the property, or just hanging out at the water, there is a daybed right next to the dock, just below the houses at the water. Parking is in front of the house and there is additional parking on a lot next to the house. The magic is in the light and the restful energy of the house. We do our best to use eco friendly soap and cleaning supplies, it is important to us that the house is clean energetically and dirt wise. We care about sustainability and respect of nature and do not want to harm especially children or pets, that is why we do not use any kind of poison inside or outside the house, for that reason please forgive the possibility of a bug or an ant. thank you. The house is very well located between New Paltz and Kingston, there are many amazing restaurants and stores, Woodstock and Rhinbeck are only a few minutes more or you can enjoy sitting at the water and chill. I decorated the house with my art. Fabric sculptures and paintings. The house is perfect for 2 and may be 5\. The living room is small. The kitchen table pulls out. the water quality of the lakes and rivers upstate can vary this is mostly a problem in the drought season end of July, when there is limited water flow. I test the water regularly during this time and in general to make sure its safe, I swim in it, we all do ! The water feels soft and fresh. I went solo, with my dog, and this was exactly the restful retreat I was looking for. The inside space is thoughtfully designed, with awesome art throughout, and the glass doors facing the lake are perfection. The creature comforts of the excellent heating systems, laundry, full kitchen, great wifi, etc were all appreciated. In the kitchen, there was even some honey from the owner’s beehives and dried herbs from their garden. Outdoors, there are several really special places to sit and experience the surroundings—my favorite was the lounge settee tucked into a little nook amongst the foliage, right next to the water’s edge. Our family had a fantastic stay at this gem of a home! Gorgeous lake views, fun times on the water using the provided kayak/canoe/paddle board, and family bonding and relaxing around the firepit…made more special by Gisela’s art and personal touches (honey from her bees, tea from her plants, her artwork, etc). The kids loved trying out the different boats and swimming in the lake. The fire pit was a big hit too, especially for s'mores. The house was very comfortable, and Gisela was super-responsive, even coming out at one point for a special request we made. Had a great stay! ##### Sean M. Perfect sunsets, peace of the lake and quiet nights. If you need some soul healing - this is the place to come to. Surrounding areas of New Paltz and Rosendale never disappoint. A wide array of kayaks, canoes, and paddle board are offered for exploration. Two docks were useful for fishing and wading in the lake. My two kids switched activities all day every day, non-stop, and neither one even asked for an electronic. My 10 year old said that it was one of the best days of his life with all the good fishing! The kitchen was fully equipped, the grill was in great condition, and the fire pit was enjoyable. The home comfortable and pretty. View was beautiful. Great fishing! Had fun exploring Kingston, New Paltz and Rosendale. Lots of options for dining out. It's only a 10 minute drive from the house to Main Street, so great location. The views were beautiful, we watched the sunset every night from the dock, so peaceful! My dog loved running around the property. The house was decorated beautifully and was very comfortable and stocked with all you would need for a perfect family getaway. We loved it and are getting ready to book our next visit to the lake house. ##### Tina K. It is beautiful in itself but it also is outfitted with beauty and comfort. And you can't ask for a lovelier setting. I was concerned that it might be noisy since it's on a busy road but I very rarely heard any street noise. I definitely want to return to it when we're back in the area. ##### Diane M.
