an ok hotel with a fantastic sauna and pool!
Stayed here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. German cleanliness and efficiency as to be expected. The rooms are nice, wouldn't describe them as the height of luxury - but this isn't a 5 star hotel, so you get what you pay for! There is no fridge in the room, which is a little strange for nowadays... Wi-fi works perfectly, plenty of parking, all the staff are very nice and accommodating. The general area outside is beautiful, very nice to walk around the lake. The sauna, pool and spa area are absolutely fantastic, which is the main reason I keep coming back!

Good place to stay.
I was there only one night, clean room, cordial service at the front desk, parking is close to the building, good breakfast. There is a restaurant in the same property. Overall a good experience.

A pleasant stay, will be back
Hotel was nice and quiet in a pleasant location. Nice and scenic to walk around, plenty for kids to do. Wi-fi internet worked perfectly. Pool and wellness facilities very nice. Parking adequate. The only drawback was that there is no fridge or air conditioning in the room, both of which are pretty much standard nowadays...

Hello, thank you for your feedback! Usually it is not very worm in our region. That´s why we decided to have no air conditioning, but very good and venetian blinds. If it is sunny, our housekeeping team is closing it in the morning already, so that the sun has no chance to warm up your room. I am very sorry, if it wasn´t enough during your stay!!! Sorry!

Wellnesshotel - außer, Sie sind ein Mann.
Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Hotel. Liegt ein ganzes Stück außerhalb von Osnabrück, aber die angeschlossene Therme hat mich jetzt schon zum dritten Mal dort buchen lassen. Vor Ort die große Ernüchterung: Damensauna, männliche Hotelgäste sind ausgeschlossen. Und da sitzen Sie dann am A… der Heide, wo es halt außer der Therme absolut nichts gibt, und können sich den Frust bestenfalls in der Hotelbar wegtrinken. Also: ACHTUNG, an alle männlichen Geschäftsreisenden: Die Sauna ist an unregelmäßigen Tagen für Sie und mich gesperrt. Und das geht gar nicht in einem „Wellnesshotel“ dieser Preisklasse.

Lieber Marc, vielen Dank für das Feedback. Das Alfen Saunaland wird sowohl von Tagesgästen als auch von Hotelgästen genutzt. Dabei haben wir auch eine große Nachfrage nach Damensaunatagen. Daher bieten wir 1x im Monat an jedem 3. Montag einen Damentag an. Feiertage sind davon ausgenommen. In diesem Onlineportal ist es uns leider nicht möglich, individuelle Texte zu hinterlegen, da wir intern nur einen Fragenkatalog bearbeiten können. Auf unserer Homepage sind diese Informationen selbstverständlich zu finden. Wir werden uns zukünftig aber bemühen, die Damensaunatage noch besser zu kommunizieren.

Leider war der im Preis enthaltene Spa-Bereich nicht geöffnet. Das Einzelzimmer erinnern ein wenig an Einzelzelle. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch sonst war alles in Ordnung.

This is quite a nice little hotel located in a typical summer resort environment in the countryside. Apparently lots of activities offered, that I did not use. Restaurant OK. Room simple but quite OK. Close to A1.

Gerne wieder!
Super Hotel, würde ich jederzeit wieder aufsuchen, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin. War im Nebenhaus untergebracht, Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. War alles da, was man braucht. Sehr gut hat mir das Frühstück und der Fitnessraum gefallen. Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen tollen Eindruck.

Tolles Hotel mit traumhafter Sauna
Super Hotel. Von der A1 rund 15 Minuten entfernt. Zimmer (Deluxe Doppelzimmer) sehr ansprechend modernisiert, allergiearmer Hartboden, großes Bett mit guter Matratze. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Badezimmer top modern und ausreichend groß. Das Beste ist definitiv die angeschlossene Alfen-Therme mit direktem Zugang vom Hotel aus: Einfach in den "wertigen) Bademantel schlüpfen und trocken und warm rübergehen. Die Therme ist traumhaft; mit Abstand das beste, was ich bislang an "Hotelsauna" hatte! Küche im Hotelrestaurant leider nur bis 21:30h, danach gibt's nichts mehr - wer also die Sauna (bis 22:00h) voll auskosten möchte, sollte sich vorher (zB in Neuenkirchen) im Supermarkt eindecken. Lage am See im Sommer sicher auch perfekt. Frühstücksbuffet sehr ansprechend und wertig. Service freundlich und herzlich. Die in jeder Hinsicht hinreißende junge Dame an der Bar hat mir um 22:30h in Ermangelung von Snacks wie Chips oder Erdnüssen zur Stillung meines Heißhungers auf Salziges eine Schale Essiggurken serviert. :-) Ein tolles Hotel, komplett dem Gast zugewandt. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Im Restaurant gab es Buffet oder a la carte. Allerdings war es nicht möglich ein Schnitzel a a carte zu bekommen. Man wurde genötigt das Buffet zu nutzen. Der Bitte daraufhin mit dem zuständigen Manager/Hoteldirektor zu sprechen wurde nicht nachgekommen. Fazit: gast hat sich demhotel anzupassen und nicht umgekehrt. Das genügt uns, um nicht wiederzukommen.

Hotellet ligger på ett enormt campingområde där det också finns massor med aktiviteter som spaavdelning och vattenskidåkning. Som övernattning när man är på genomresa fungerar det sämre. Vi anlände vid 19.30 och då skulle receptionen vara bemannad. Det var den inte. Det tog uppemot 20 min innan personalen lyckats få fram en som kunde checka in oss och andra som också ville checka in. Rummet var ok och rent. Maten på restaurangen såg bra ut på menyn. Men det var den tyvärr inte. Tjocka och smaklösa wienerschnitzlar tillsammans med två körsbärstomater och den tunnaste och minsta citronskiva jag sett. Pommesen var blek och mjuk, och knappast hemlagad som den skulle. Tips: ät innan! Frukosten helt ok. Men hit kommer vi inte tillbaka.
