Bernadette Apartment, 40 m², with a balcony and a view of the mountains

Our farm, which offers horse boarding, is a peacefully situated organic farm in Ecking on the beautiful Simssee, with 5 apartments for 2–6 people. Our farm is also home to cats, rabbits, and sheep, as well as chickens that provide the eggs for our breakfast. We run our Danner Farm organically and GMO-free. Our large garden, complete with a play area and a trampoline, is available for all our guests to use freely, and anyone who’d like to is welcome to pick herbs for tea from our garden. Parking is available right on the farm. Our holiday apartments are comfortable and offer space for families with several children, as well as for couples or solo travellers, and are located in the farmhouse and in the “Zuhaus.” The holiday apartments in the farmhouse have a balcony and offer views of Lake Simssee or the mountains. The custom-designed apartments in the “Zuhaus” building charm guests with plenty of wood, a modern yet warm ambiance, a beautiful large terrace with a gas grill, and an unobstructed view of the countryside. Guests staying in these two apartments during fall or winter can light a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove and enjoy the cosy warmth.
The Bernadette one-room apartment is located in the attic and features a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. A beautiful wooden table is perfect for breakfast, or you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony, with a view of the church and the mountains. The apartment features satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
At nearby Simssee, there are several swimming spots with a kiosk. From our property, Riedering is just 2 km away, offering plenty of shopping options. Rosenheim, with its city centre area boasting a Mediterranean flair, is about 8 km away and is perfect for strolling and window shopping. Trips to nearby Lake Chiemsee or to Salzburg and Munich—the “cosmopolitan city with a heart”—offer plenty of variety for singles, families, seniors, and couples; we also welcome smaller groups. Along the hiking trails by nearby Simssee, you’ll find a variety of recreational activities, such as hiking, jogging, Nordic walking, or biking. We’re open year-round and offer plenty of ways to make your holiday both relaxing and full of new experiences. In winter, you can have fun sledding right here on our sledding hill—perfect for all ages—and when it’s really cold, you can enjoy the entire lake on ice skates.
We love nature and animals and believe that treating all living beings with care is important—especially since we live and work on a farm.
Sustainability is very important to us. Because we need to preserve nature.
This statement hits the nail on the head for us. After all, a healthy natural environment benefits us all.
A relaxed atmosphere among us, passion for our work, and creative endeavours here on the farm are important to us and a source of joy.
We hope you feel at home with us and enjoy our family-like atmosphere—and, last but not least, that we can share our calm demeanour with you, our guests. Then your holiday with us will be a time of ease, relaxation, and enjoyment. What a blessing!
