Designed with comfort and connection in mind, the home features two inviting living spaces, a vaulted-ceiling great room, and a fully equipped kitchen perfect for gathering and sharing meals. The main-level primary suite offers a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and direct access to a private deck—ideal for sipping coffee while taking in the fresh alpine air. Downstairs, unwind in a cozy lounge area with a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and bar setup—perfect for movie nights or après-adventure drinks. Two additional queen bedrooms and a full bathroom make this level great for families or friends traveling together. One bedroom even opens to a private yard with morning sun and evening alpenglow. For extra flexibility, there's also a queen futon and an enclosed outdoor space for your furry companions. Please do not block shared main entrance. NO RV's or trailer's allowed. •This home is pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The pet fee is $40.00, per night/$250.00 maximum. •Please confirm that you will be traveling with a dog(s) when you book your reservation. Please review and follow the Pet Policy. •STR2025-057 •Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. The views were absolutely gorgeous. The star gazing was beyond words. Plenty of seating space inside and out. This house was extremely clean and well kept. It easily met all of our needs. The only downside that I somehow overlooked was that there was no a/c. When we visited it was averaging 86deg. It was pretty warm during the day at night it was comfortable once you had the windows open. I would definitely stay here again if I travel outside of the summer months. ##### Monica L. Our only recommendation would be to find a way to increase the internet speed if possible (our college age son was taking an online summer class during our visit--usually we wouldn't care about the internet speed but it was a factor this time.) We loved watching Elk and Mule Deer from the deck of the cabin every evening. The house is very spacious with more than enough room for our family of 3 and our small dog. The views are amazing and we found Ridgway to be a good location for exploring the immediate area, Montrose, and Telluride.
