"Clean room, friendly staff great breakfast "

"The staff were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was good, as were the sandwiches we had the night before. It is a cheap hotel so you could forgive some maintenance issues such as some bubbling of paint. However, the desk in our room had had the edging damaged along over a metre of the front. This exposed the chipboard it was made from and so there was a risk of splinters. We would, however, stay here again."

"Nothing at all wrong with the hotel. Clean, nice views of garden, huge bed. It was the noise of the other guests that kept me awake after deciding that 11:30 at night was the best time to have a loud pointless conversation on the landing. Hotel was fine and i had no issues with it. Staff are very helpful and polite. Would stay with them again if i have to."

"Terrible check in experience. The hotel said they didn’t have my hotel.com booking (I had booked around 4 hours earlier). Receptionist was very unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. The lady at reception didn’t offer any advice other than to buy a new room and left me sat in reception for an hour whilst I tried to contact hotels.com on the phone, she didn’t offer me even the glint of a smile, a glass of water, an apology, nothing, instead she treated me like I was trying to steal a free nights stay even though I had a confirmation email with all details on. Terrible customer service experience. I booked this hotel specifically because it had a gym which I didn’t get to use as it had closed by the time I got to my room. A smile and a “don’t worry we’ll help sort it” would have gone a very long way. Lacking some very basic customer service skills. "

"Plenty of parking. All facilities were available (pool, spa golf etc) at an extra cost but I didn't use. Room looked out on to a brick wall and outdoor plumbing, but I assume this is because I didn't book directly with the hotel. Grounds were immaculate but not visible from our room. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment but it smelled good!"
