One woman, Erica, stared me up and down before speaking, acted cold and controlling, and made me feel judged and unwelcome. During meals, staff hovered every few minutes asking “Are you ready?” while I was still eating, which was exhausting. The food was mediocre, the room outdated, and the atmosphere non-existent — no music, no vibe. The male manager was more knowledgeable, the housekeeper was incredibly kind, and Hudson, one of the servers, treated guests with respect — they were the only positives. At checkout, I had to pay for food while my card was locked because I was out of the country. Erica acted like I was playing games, even though I was just trying to resolve things quickly. Her behavior was controlling, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Honestly, the front desk staff needs serious retraining in customer service. Guests should feel welcomed and valued, not rushed or treated like a nuisance. Ended up leaving the vacation early because it was too painful to continue to walk the steps to get to the room.
