This is not a 4 star hotel. I had a nice room and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is mostly sweets, no fruit. The elevator near my room makes loud groaning noises when in use. But the location is poor, some distance from the tourist area down twisted poorly maintained streets. I got lost twice trying to find it again. Taxis charge 20 euros to take you less than a mile to the main tourist area. Nearby restaurants are for locals with nothing in English. I just can't recommend it because of the location. Otherwise OK.

Uniquely charming old Palazzo ideally located within a few minutes walk of many Palermo attractions. Small common area is just outside the rooms, a good place to enjoy tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits, and to meet other guests. Good restaurant suggestions. Room quiet despite busy neighborhood. Older or less able guests need to know that access is possible only via outside staircase, expect no help with bags.

This is an unusual and quirky hotel in a great location. Loved the decor and the staff were very nice and helpful. Enormous breakfast, way too much really as they brought it out to you, rather than you choosing for yourself. We had booked a room with a balcony that we could sit out on, but we were upgraded to a larger room with two balconies. Unfortunately, you couldn't sit out on the balconies. Also despite being called a junior suite, and whilst nice, there was no seating area and so you could only sit on the bed. There is room to put two chairs and a small table which would make the room more comfortable. Would stay again because of the great location and staff.

A very nice hotel. Perfectly situated for attractions of the city and certainly for restaurants day and night. The building is actually a centuries old palace and many of the common rooms reflect this with nice decor and antique furnishings. A rooftop bar and restaurant compliment the high standards of the establishment. Service at reception, breakfast and staff in general was similarly always very good. Our standard room was a good size with a/c, fridge, TV, safe and tea and coffee facilities, very comfortable.Buffet breakfast was extensive, some hot choices, bacon, sausage, eggs, a considerable variety of cold meats, cheeses, yogurts and breads and cakes. Fresh fruit, tea, variety of coffees and cold juices completed and excellent start to the day.

⭐️ Beautiful hotel in the heart of Palermo — but think twice about driving! The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located in Palermo’s historic centre, with easy access to the nightlife, sights and cruise port. Our room was huge, with a separate bedroom and living/family-room area, and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again. My biggest caution is arriving with a rental car. The hotel is within the ZTL, and Google Maps struggled to navigate us through the extremely narrow and restricted streets. Make sure you carefully read the hotel’s instructions and provide your licence plate and driver information in advance. We were given contact information for several garages, but had difficulty getting responses and initially received very little assistance from the hotel. After I expressed my frustration through Expedia, the hotel stepped in and arranged the parking for us, which I appreciated. I do think the arrival, ZTL and parking process could be explained more clearly and proactively. The area is lively and noisy at night, but that’s also part of the charm of staying right in historic Palermo. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, then step outside and enjoy the nightlife! Overall, a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. I would happily stay again—but next time I’d arrive by taxi rather than rental car! 🇮🇹
