Wow what an amazing place we absolutely loved Lakeside Lodge and Wales it was perfect.

Wow what an amazing place we absolutely loved Lakeside Lodge and Wales it was perfect. The lodge is immaculate and there is nothing Andrew and Kate haven’t thought of. So so comfortable and relaxing just what we needed. Andrew was on hand to answer any questions and give advice, he also took us on a tour of the farm which the children loved. He also helped jump start our car too. Would highly recommend this place and we would definitely love to come back!!! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The only thing I would point out as we were not aware until after we booked, there is another lodge been built on the lake. we booked thinking it was total seclusion and peace, it wasn't . but if that is not a issue then we cannot recommend highly enough as it was perfect in every other way. stunning property and area is lovely. Everything was thought through within the property. Couldn't of asked for more. Loved the covered decked area. Been able to eat outside every night was brilliant. First lodge I have stayed in where I didn't feel the need to clean anything upon arrival! Andrew the owner is a great host. Friends we stayed with took a trip around his farm, they all thoroughly enjoyed it. Hotub treated everyday too. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Lakeside Lodge and will definitely be returning! The lodge was the perfect place for a relaxing break and Andrew was a great host. The lodge is well equipped and finished to the highest standard, the hot tub just makes it. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great welcome from the owner on arrival. The lodge is even more stunning in person then the photos suggest. The downstairs is huge and open plan but was always toasty with the ufh. The bathrooms were top notch as well. We stay in similar places to this on our last few holidays. Though they've been great in there own way, one stay was enough. We can wait to return here.

Really enjoyed staying here it was a real treat .

Really enjoyed staying here it was a real treat .... Quite happily move in, location was perfect the host was very helpful and friendly.... It does get rather warm and attracts flies but this did not put me off in the slightest was our own fault for leaving the doors wide open all day and night but nothing some fly spray didn't fix most definitely shall return in near future if we can get in it does get booked up really quickly ... Thanks for having us ..

What a fantastic break, the lodge was luxury, with beautiful surroundings, peace and tranquillity. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to return next year! Can get a little warm as it's well insulated so pack some light blankets and take some fans if you're visiting in warmer weather. All in all, this lodge is a little gem in the middle of Wales. An ideal place to runaway to for a week to relax, release stress and be one with nature..

Andrew's Lakeside Lodge is truly stunning! One of the most amazing places I've stayed.

Andrew's Lakeside Lodge is truly stunning! One of the most amazing places I've stayed. He's done such a fantastic job building this lodge, the design is amazing with such a high end finish. The place is high quality through and through. We were a group of 8 and had more than enough space, each of the 4 rooms is huge with 3 en-suites and one main bathroom. The kitchen again is very big, has everything you could possibly need and all of the equipment/utensils were brand new. The living room has three sofas so again lots of space for a group of 8. There is a large dining table inside and another one outside on the patio. The patio area has a large hottub that fits 6 and a large BBQ. The garden area is big enough for garden games and the whole lodge is located right next to a small lake, surrounded by farmland so we didn't have to worry about making noise. Andrew was extremely accommodating and just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

This proved to be an excellent place to stay.

This proved to be an excellent place to stay. There's plenty of space; everything has been finished to a high standard; and it is well equipped. One nice touch that we hadn't anticipated was an Nespresso machine, which received plenty of use during our stay. The nearby lake was home to some interesting wildlife. Lakeside Lodge is fairly secluded, but it's conveniently located only a short drive away from the main road. We found it was particularly conveniently placed for access to car parking for the Royal Welsh Show, which we visited during our stay. We had a warm welcome from the owner, Andrew. We intend to return again in the future.

Brilliant open plan layout of property was great for our family gathering to celebrate my 60th Birth

Brilliant open plan layout of property was great for our family gathering to celebrate my 60th Birthday. Lodge was spotless & clean throughout, as we were the 1st guests to stay a full week, everything smelt fresh, new wood , new leather - wonderful. Upstairs bedrooms so spacious and super comfy beds, best nights sleep for ages! Great views across fields and beyond and a must for bird watchers. So easy & quick to visit the Red Kite Feeding Centre and Elan Valley. Short drive into Rhayader where you can find virtually everything you need, shops, pubs, restaurants, take-aways, and much more and everyone was so friendly. Our party ages between 26 and 89 and we all had a fantastic time. We holiday as a family group every year and this is one of the best , lodge, location & scenery all superb. A few hiccups with the door locks (because they were new) but Andrew was soon on hand to resolve. Just one thing don't follow the written directions which were a bit confusing, its so much closer to the main road than you would imagine, we called Andrew and he greeted us on arrival and showed us round, couldn't have wished for anything better. Thank You.
