My wife and I stayed here for a quick trip to Iceland. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Able to get early check-in for a reasonable fee on our first day. Conveniently next to a bus stop. Would definitely recommend.

Hlemmur Suites
Clean, convenient location, spacious, had all of the amenities that our family for 4 needed. Downside was that we had to find free street parking. Hint, parking near the commercial buildings were paid parking.

101 Guesthouse Hotel
Room and facilities were generally clean and at the top end of what you would expect given the price. A bed, toilet, and shower in the centre of Reykjavik was what we were looking for and that is what we got.
