The people who work here are fantastic. Helpful with neighbourhood tips, even had a spare power adapter when we brought the wrong one. Helped us out with a corkscrew when we needed one, made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Keahotels, have stayed at a few of their properties and the experience is always friendly, kind, helpful and warm.

This was our first night and hotel staff was super helpful getting us oriented to the city. They kept our luggage while we explored since we arrived at 10am (before our room was ready). We were able to get to our around by 1:00 to fully check in which was super helpful. Easy and convenient walking around town.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very helpful with cabs and getting around. Room comes with a buffet breakfast which was so good. Plenty of choices and of good quality. The room was small but adequate. I would recommend it as a place to stay close to everything

The hotel is wonderful. Our bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. I chose this hotel for the free parking, which we were able to use on our first night. Unfortunately the garage was full when we got back to our second night. We parked at the back of the hotel without realizing that it was not part of the hotels parking and woke up to a parking ticket.

Very central and close to bus stop #9 where many excursions can pick you up. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was very good and very convenient considering the early departure for excursions and the price of food in Iceland. The room itself is very basic and water pressure in the shower is poor. Otherwise clean and better priced than most other hotels around.

Great value hotel, close to Bus Stop #9 and right in the centre. Would have liked another pillow (never asked; I'm sure they would have been happy to give me one). Decent breakfast; would come back.

Breakfast was great - good value for money and the staff were incredibly helpful with minor and major needs such as needing an adapter and helping with transport to the airport. A no frills centrally located option. Highly recommend if you need somewhere safe, accessible and with a great breakfast before daily exploration or travels.

Parking is a problem with this establishment. If you get there early and park your vehicle on the handful of spots you will enjoy the hotel. Although the hotel is in a low rent district it is safe and comfortable. The front desk lady was a little snippity as I had trouble understanding what was coming out of her mouth. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. The location offered easy access to buses and downtown. There are excellent eateries surrounding the hotel all in a short walk. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Big thanks to Skuggi for a very pleasant stay! From allowing us to check in a few hours earlier, to amazing breakfast, Skuggi Hotel is wonderful! For anyone considering Skuggi: Parking is limited so be mindful of that. If nothing is available, there’s street parking. No A\C. But windows open for ventilation. Thank you for a memorable stay in Reykjavik!
