It was well-appointed and had everything we needed for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and having a washing machine & drying rack was a plus. We loved that we could easily walk everywhere in Reykjavik, but it’s also close to the highway to go exploring. Parking options are paid on the street or in the garage below the building. We never had an issue finding a spot. It was very clean, comfortable, fully stocked with everything you need to cook and clean up, including dishwasher soap, washer and dryer with laundry soap was also appreciated! Beds were comfortable, pillows were great. Hosts were very responsive when we asked for more towels- and same were easily accessible to us on site. Coffee maker wasn’t great so we picked up some instant coffee at the nearby market. The area was safe with lots of places to shop and eat within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the location was handy for the city, although not directly in the centre. A couple of small things that could be improved : 1\. A small welcome pack would have been helpful, although dishwasher tablets were included there was no washing up liquid or milk, so buying supplies straight away was essential. A pint of milk would have been very handy. 2\. The sofa is very small and hard as it's a sofa bed, so not the most comfortable to relax on and only really big enough to sit 3 people.
