The beds were made up with the heads of the two twin beds under the low end of the ceiling. We had to change the bedding around to avoid banging our heads on the ceiling. Even then, we occasionally hit our heads on the sloped ceiling. It is clean, warm ( central heating and some under floor heating),comfortable and central to shops, restaurants and a pick up stop for the tours and airports.It is also cheap to stay there. There is a fully functional kitchen where you can cook with a supermarket and a delightful bakery nearby. WiFi is good. Our House was clean and comfortable. Johannes was very friendly and made great suggestions for our trip! We only stayed one night so didn’t really make use of all the facilities, but everything seemed to be in good order. Great location close to shops/restaurants downtown and Hallgrimskirkja, but not too close to be noisy at night! It was a 2 minute walk from the church which is where the bus stop is for any excursions and transfers. The guesthouse is situated at the top of the town so you are surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely little place, very clean with plenty of facilities. Home away from home.
