First of all I love a boutique hotel that has charm and ambience fantastic breakfast every morning great room very clean great staff the concierge the front desk is very helpful from calling cabs to booking trips I love this hotel I want to return the Iceland I will definitely rebook it
The hotel was truly charming. It had a nice sitting area in the lobby as well as a nice sitting area and the bar. Not just areas that we're trying to look comfortable but actually were comfortable. And the bar was staffed and a full-service bar.
This is a very good hotel. Good location, great staff and good value for money. They also have free parking which is excellent. Coffee is available late starting 7am - there is coffee in the room but it’s just okay.
Because we got there before check-in, they locked our bags in the safe place until the room was ready
The staff was very knowledgeable of the area
The hotel is within walking distance of many places easy to get around
Breakfast was delicious and plentyful
This was a fabulous hotel in central Reykjavik. The staff provided recommendations on local non tourist restaurants. We would definitely recommend the hotel.
Good experience overall, decent location, larger clean rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast, very busy hotel. Only negative is the lack of on-site parking requiring paid street parking. Walkable access to Reykjavik shops and restaurants. I would stay there again and would recommend as a newer hotel.
Just a quick stop before our tour. Convenient to the bus station, very quaint. Staff was super friendly. Didn't get to enjoy the bar since we arrived on a Monday but looked nice.
It’s a beautiful hotel. The art around the walls is great and there is a wonderful downstairs library area with comfy sofas.
But the breakfast is the real standout. The best breakfast from our trip to Iceland! Delicious salmon and eggs amongst many other things.
Note - we arrived on a Sunday and the bar and restaurant were closed and we weren’t aware of that in advance.
Centrally located, clean and overall maintained, plus friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The lift is a bit dated and temperamental. Mattress a bit on the soft side but ok. Blackout curtains could have been a bit wider. All in all highly recommended.
Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, clean room. Tiny storage and bathroom but OK for the needs and the price. Practical private parking. Would come back again. Thanks for the good job!
This is a gem of a hotel, which had been recommended by an Iceland native now living in the US. We loved the quiet neighborhood location just a few blocks from everything. It really is just chock full of fabulous art. The bar was cozy and beautiful and had live jazz the evening we were there. Delicious breakfast and super nice front desk staff. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and great. Would definitely recommend.
Great location, clean place, the breakfast was super good as well.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Overall a nice stay! Hotel was a little dated but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Nice bath products, comfortable beds, and plenty of room.
The Hotel is charming and well located, walking distance from the city centre and with its own parking on the side of the building. The breakfast is rich and tasty, served on spacious tables and cozy chairs. The room was clean and managed to fit our family of 4, with toddler in the cot and baby in the pram. We didn’t like the shower curtain in plastic and the hotel staff doesn’t pay much attention to avoid waking up a sleeping baby, but all in all, everyone has been very kind and helpful. We recommend it!
