This is a very noisy and pulluted hotel. Tiny room with one tiny window that leads out to a tremendously trafficed road makes it exeptionally hard to vent the room properly. -Let's just say that you don't open the window until 8-9 o'clock in the evening unless you want to suffocate slowly. Furthermore there are a lot of "tennants" that are not regular travelers that make a lot of ruccus(banging doors, talking loud in the hallway etc.) from early in the morning until around 1 at night. Personally I don't care why you are in Iceland but normal courtesy is a must in my book. These people also smoked indoors every single night for 9d straight so you can forget about the "smoke-free" hotel lable. However if you are imune to loud sounds and don't care about horrendous air quality (I hope the irony is not lost on anyone reading this due to the fact that Icland is known for being the least polluted country in the world) you will find this place to be a steal. I had a double room with 2 beds for only 28$ a night and the place was clean. Finally I have to ecco what another reviewer further up said, -the beds are terrible! They were very friendly.
