A short drive onto Interstate 80 Freeway. This older small cottage home, located in a shared courtyard of a 4-unit community, is completely stand-alone and separate. Much of the year, it houses visiting international researchers at the university. When available, VRBO guests can enjoy this central location, with parking, and everything you need for study and work. Whether you are traveling to Reno for skiing, leisure, visiting Lake Tahoe, family, or work or study, this small 1940s-era cottage has all the basics you need. Parking, private laundry inside, a small bedroom with bathroom, and separate living room for relaxing and enjoying. Located in a mixed-use neighborhood primarily for students and workers. Just a 5-minute walk from Latin-American inspired Coffee Shop Cafe Con Papi, as well as a short walk to Walgreens drug store, and within 15-minute walk of Circus Circus and other attractions in Downtown Reno. Our international visitors and scholars enjoy this well-appointed older house as their home base during critical engineering and medical research at UNR, as well as St. Marys and Renown Health Medical Center. It includes a small dining table, relaxing futon sofa, TV, wifi internet, small kitchen with locally roasted coffee, washer/dryer, and a small bedroom with attached bathroom. Convienient, with essentials needed for a rest after a long day in the region. There is a private, gated parking space right next to the unit (in the rear, off the alley), or street parking on E. 9th street.
