"We had a great stay. The room had everything we needed, and it was new. There was one incident that could be improved. Upon checkout, there was a person checking out ahead of me and the front desk attendant called him Mr. So and so and asked if everything was OK during his stay. She was super kind and you could tell she was putting in effort to treat this person well. When I walked up to the desk expecting the same treatment, I got called by my first and last name and did not get asked if everything was OK during the day. The front desk attendant just said “OK you’re good to go”. I did not get the same warm tone or welcoming vibe. I felt as though I was treated differently than the guest ahead of me. I am a rewards member and a professional person (not travelling for work this time) but none of that should matter as all guests should be treated the same. Food for thought"

"My wife and I stayed 2 nights. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on the 4th floor and our room had exposed ceiling beam's part of the ceiling was pitched with an eye dormer with a front view. The hotel was situated directly across the Harbor with private access to the restaurants and shops on Water Street. The breakfast was provided was a continental breakfast which was good. The only negative would be the 4th floor isn’t accessible by the elevator so you have to take the elevator to the 3rd floor and take one flight of stairs to the 4th which wasn’t a big deal. The did have porters if you needed help with your bags though. The room also had a large bathroom with a wirlpool tub. The room had central air as well so no noisy wall unit."
