"On arrival we had to check in at the sister property down the hill. At check in they were unable to find our booking and we’re not expecting us, they did provide us with a room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. There were dustpans & brushes left on the landing, room was reasonably clean but tired, breakfast was an extra €7 each at the sister property down the street and was good value. The bar was not open. "Das Hotel hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Man bezahlt etwas mehr als anderswo, bekommt allerdings auch etwas dafür. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und auch ruhig, wenn nicht gerade auf dem Flur von anderen Gästen die Türen laut geknallt werden. Im Hotel wurden gerade Zimmer in einem anderen Flur renoviert, das hat nicht gestört. (Vor dem Fahrstuhl lag diverses Baumaterial herum.) Das Schwimmbecken hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war ausreichend groß und es gab genügend Liegen dort. Am Frühstücksbuffet hatten wir wirklich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, es war sehr reichhaltig und sehr vielfältig. Beim Frühstück und auch sonst immer war das Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."
