"The property is nice with children to walk around, play and see animals. Unfortunately when we were there the SPA and Sauna were closed. It will be nice if the property posts the operation hours for sauna and SPA. There is also a small museum of tractors on side. You need to ask at the reception for them to open the door."

"Wir waren zu Silvester zu viert in den Ferienhaus und sind mit der Unterkunft nicht zufrieden. Das positive Vorweg: - ruhige Lage, direkt am Wald - Tolle Aussicht - Wlan ist mittlerweile vorhanden Direkt bei der Anreise wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Kamin nicht funktioniert. Vor allem im Winter ist ein funktionierender Kamin ein großes Plus.Das Haus s wurde uns sauber übergeben und der Verwalter war stets gut zu erreichen, auch als wir etwas benötigten. Das Haus an sich riecht recht muffig, egal wie oft man lüftet, eventuell durch den feuchten Keller. Das Mobilar ist auch ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt, die Couch wurde bereits ersetzt und ist nicht mehr die auf den aktuellen Fotos. Am schlimmsten waren die Betten. Die Einzelbetten sind total durchgelegen, wir sind keine Schwergewichte und trotzdem liegt man auf dem Rost. Zudem machen die Gestelle bei der kleinsten Bewegung knarzende Geräusche. Das Doppeltbett war gerade noch so ok, aber auch hier gehören wenigstens die Matratzen getauscht. Das Bad macht auf den Fotos einen tollen Eindruck, vor allem durch die Dusche und die Whirlwanne. Nur bringen einem die ganzen Funktionen in der Dusche nichts, wenn diese verkalkt ist und der Wasserdruck fehlt. Die Wanne hat niemand von uns genutzt, bei den Gesamtzustand ist uns hier die Lust vergangen. Alles in allem ist der Preis nicht angemessen und das Ferienhaus ist nicht empfehlenswert solange die alten Betten nicht ersetzt werden."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."
