Communication with management was very good and the check in was easy. We loved the walkable distance to the boardwalk There were a few minor disappointing issues - At first glance the place was very clean and well kept. Then we found stains on the living room carpet and several more on the sofa and loveseats. It seems they were not addressed early and have now set in. Perhaps upholstery cleaning should’ve place when they first occurred. Fabric furniture are hated to keep clean - kitchen is super nice and modern. we suggest adding a couple of non-stick griddles. The old-fashioned ones there are hard to clean and harder to cook with - The grill was super saturated with old built- up grease and caught fire when we tried to use. First, the dishwasher was broken. Despite multiple calls to the property manager, no one even came to look at it. The carpet was filthy. The property is managed by Vacasa. I have had an issue with both visits. The first time the house was not cleaned and the second time the door lock broke. Vacasa uses a third-party answering service and it is virtually impossible to get a hold of a property manager, I swore to myself I would never use Vacasa again but this time I mean it. I know you can rent this through VRBO but the property manager is Vacasa so if VRBO is going to be associated with Vacasa I advise you to look for something other than a Vacasa Managed property ##### briget j. We assumed it meant for parking at the beach and not in the community. Due to that several of us got ticketed. I looked on what was advertised at this listing online, and I was a little disappointed that it didn't make clear that you cant park on the street at all without a permit. And this with unhappy discussions with “management” over telling us to block the driveway instead of giving us a parking permit. We read it is illegal to block the driveway in Rehoboth Beach. Check in was fine. The house is as advertised although a few things were frustrating and should be considered if booking. First, they advertise 3 parking passes which you will need to park outside the home during summer season. They were missing and it took a day to get an answer from the local office that we should purchase passes and they will reimburse. Within those first few hours we were ticketed though. Vacasa will reimburse for the passes but not the ticket. In the future, they should just not advertise the parking passes and instruct people where to buy passes. That would have alleviated our biggest hassle. Second, the house appears to have been cleaned but then look a little closer and smell things. The downstairs carpet is disgusting and needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. The couches are stained all over and need to be cleaned. The beds had no mattress pads and probably the yuckiest thing is that the light blankets on the beds smelled like sweat and who knows what else, but let’s just say unclean. We tried using the washer while there and found that even after 2 washes the items were still not coming out clean. So keep those things in mind and plan accordingly. The local office is slow to respond to issues but they have some sort of chatbot to help with acknowledging your message. Other than that, the location is great & walking distance to the beach, house is spacious, yard is fenced which was great for our dog, and there is a functional kitchen. ##### Meghan M. When I arrived, after check in time, house was still not clean. Lights on, fans running, place dirty etc. Tried to contact VACASA, they have an answering service. Took 3 hours for a return call from someone . I called them every 20 minutes for assistance. My first evening was horrible. Will make every attempt possible to not use property managed by VACASA. The first floor bedroom has a en suite bathroom that is spacious and includes walk-in shower with a seat, a jacuzzi tub, and lots of hand rails.
