Welcome to 28 Sussex Street!
OVERVIEW: Enjoy the beauty of a home located in The Pines. This luxury property with beach charm offers five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and will sleep 14 people comfortably. A fantastic rear three-season room, a gourmet kitchen with gorgeous hardwood flooring, and so much more. This wonderful home offers all the comforts and amenities with an awesome grilling station, seating, encased propane grill, an outdoor shower, and a rear patio. A fenced-in backyard and beautiful landscaping give this home a great vibe and a perfect beach vacation. Beautiful bottom floor primary suite w/ king bed, ensuite w/ fireplace & soaking tub, flat screen TV, and hardwood flooring. The second level offers a primary suite w/ a queen bed and TV. There are two additional bedrooms with a jack & jill bathroom. The top level provides an excellent recreational room with seating, a TV, and an air hockey game. The final bedroom is located on this level and has two double beds. It is a fantastic space for movie nights, games, or relaxation!
LOCATION: One block to Rehoboth Ave and downtown. Approximately 4-5 blocks to the north end of the beach and boardwalk. Rehoboth Boardwalk & Beach. Grab the Jolly Trolley into Dewey Beach to enjoy the nightlife, our five-star restaurants, tax-free boutiques, and much more. Great location!
PARKING: Private driveway for approximately three vehicles.
AMENITIES: All bedrooms, living room, and recreational room have flat-screen TVs with complimentary Wi-Fi. There is also an outdoor shower, a fantastic grilling station with seating, a spacious three-season room, a second freezer/refrigerator in the laundry room, and a full washer and dryer. There is also an abundance of beach equipment for guests to use.
THINGS TO KNOW: The 199.99 processing fee is non-refundable if you cancel. This home rents from Sat-Sat. It is a non-smoking house and no pets. Streaming services are only provided. Linens are not provided. However, we do offer a linen package to our guests. There are pillows, mattress pads, and blankets for each bedroom.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly dam" ge waiver fee" plus tax if applicable (the "Damage Waiver"). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place and location

The location of the house is great! It is on a quiet street but very close to plenty of restaurants. The boardwalk and beach were also walkable. The house was described and clean. There were plenty of beds and they were all at least doubles. We would stay here again.

Turkey Day

Our family/extended family met in Rehoboth for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was also a perfect size house with plenty of space for our large family. We hope to be back!

This house was beautiful, with a great outdoor grill and appliances. The screened porch was wonderful with an eating area there. Half a mile to the beach and an easy walk to Rehoboth Ave. Will Definitely stay again.

Stayed in the property for the Costal Delaware running festival with a group of 11 girls. So much room and the property was beautiful and close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay for our Girl's Weekend. We walked everywhere - restaurants, bars, shopping, spa. The house was clean and had more than enough space and amenities. Beautifully decorated and super comfy!

Spacious house with ample community space in a great location

The house layout is great for groups. The kitchen, family room, outdoor patio, dining room--all gave our group the space to be in community and have an amazing weekend in Rehoboth. This is our second time in this house and we hope to return again in the future.

Beautiful House, Perfect Location!

We celebrated NYE with our friends and lots of kiddos (age 1-6) and had the best time. The house is gorgeous and spacious. The location is perfect- we could walk to the playground, restaurants, coffee, and the beach! Even in December, we used the outdoor grill which was amazing. Thank you for memories that will last us a lifetime!

Great location and spacious home.

The home looked exactly like the photos and felt very spacious with parking Room for 2 cars in the rainbow driveways. Short walk to boardwalk area and beach. Beautiful enclosed patio and outdoor area. Only downside is lack of linens. Property does not come with towels/sheets/ and pillow cases. We had to rent them for an additional $236. Would stay here again next time!

Beautiful home, BUT...

disappointing experience. When you arrive, it takes several hours to cool the house. Your checkin requires "24 hours for the refrigerator to cool." This means it will take a day to discover that the separate freezer is actually broken and that the main fridge might not work (it has stopped working repeatedly). The outdoor shower does not remove sand, the water comes out as a trickle (you are better off using the ones by the beach). The backyard is overgrown and even has vines hanging over the grill. Surprisingly, the bathfitter tubs on the second floor are not that unattractive.

Girls Getaway

The house is in an ideal location to walk to Rehoboth shops, restaurants and bike rental. It is larger than the pictures seem to portray with lots of space for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed being able to gather around the kitchen island and family room and especially the screened in porch. Great table out there for playing cards. There are beach chairs in the garage and a wheeled cart but I would advise driving your beach stuff over and then walking without having to carry all the stuff. The owner had all kinds of spices and serving wear available so everything we needed was available for breakfast and first night happy hour. It was an easy walk to Rehobth Cycle Sports for a bike rental and a great ride to Lewes. Also an easy walk to Salt Air and Shorebreak Lodge for dinner and we loved the food at both. There are 2 types of coffee makers so you can bring K cups or ground coffee. The linen & towel rental was easy. If only there was a blow dryer or rental option since those take up so much space when you don't want to check luggage. Overall, we were very impressed with this property and had a Fabulous time!

The Pines

The check in process went as smooth as possible because of Sharons assistance. The house had a number of issues. A nice sunroom but one of the seats at the table was broken and the rocking bench had something major wrong with it. When we turned the oven on, it bellowed smoke. On inspection the bottom was very dirty. The second bedroom on the second floor was hardly a bedroom. No door. In the hallway. With a skylight directly over the bed. Not the best when you are on a get away to relax. Sun shining in your eyes very early. The upstairs toilet needed repairs so it basically was not usable. Of the two bathrooms on the main floor, the jack and jill bathroom needed a plunger frequently even with doing only number one. I don’t think we will stay here again especially after all of the beautiful VRBOs that we have used.

Multi Family Vacation

The home and location were perfect for my sisters and my families + grandma. Everyone had their own room, plenty of bathrooms for our group of 12. The main level was just perfect for our family to all be together but not on top of eachother. Well stocked home in excellent condition.

Great family beach house

We loved the layout of the house and the amount of space for everyone. It was super clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location was only a couple blocks from Rehoboth Ave which was so convenient. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach so you’ll want to transport your beach chairs/equipment by car. Plenty of parking was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Rehoboth Beach.
