The older redhead front desk lady needs to retire ASAP because her attitude is horrible. I literally had a very simple question about the curtains not closing as it was affecting my sleep and her response was “I don’t know, do you want me to call an engineer?” I again asked nicely if the curtains are just for decoration or are they able to close at all and she cut me off to reply with “I just said I don’t know, do you want me to send someone up to look at it?” I was kinda shocked by her abrupt response but I said fine and the engineer FINALLY answered my question after coming all the way up to the 12th floor to say “Yes, those curtains don’t close. I’m sorry. Do you want me to put some tape on the shades to block out the light?” What a waste of time. Another thing that pissed me off is the wifi wasn’t working on the second day of my stay which affected my work. I called the front desk and they seemed confused until informing that they just changed the wifi password… okay so why would you not tell me that when I checked-in the night before and you literally showed me where the wifi password is written on the key holder? Also, your staff should warn guests prior to check in that one of the TWO main elevators in the lobby is broken so all guests will have to waste at least 15 minutes every day waiting for the other one to come down to the lobby. I spent nearly $2,000 for a one week stay and I love New York but I’m never staying at this property again and neither should you.

The best airbnb Ive stayed at in New York with the best price for our family of 6. The place was so clean, amenities looked brand new. It had a homey feel to it, my kids didnt want to leave. We will definently be booking again in the future.
