" To access the train, it’s a 1/2 mile walk that was advertised as “across the street”. Carpets are nasty! The elevator door had to be constantly pushed in to work. The continental breakfast was “poor” … the owners too cheap to have real orange juice, real apple juice or real cranberry juice. Homeless people congregated under our balcony and talked and made noises all during the night and early morning. Our room key had to be replaced twice in 7 days. My wife and I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!"

"Sadly some of the rooms weren’t as clean as you’d expect and because of the quarry across the street it’s super dusty outside and porches should be rinsed off as to not drag in the dust. Also we were disappointed that nothing was mentioned about the traffic/busy road that you hear all night long. Brandon’s phone number should be provided with the check in information. Yes, it’s included in house rules, but having it in an email would be more convenient. Maybe a little more transparency upfront. The toilets, the traffic, and the dog kennel. Also to say that it sleeps 14 is only accurate IF 8 of the 14 are children, due to the number of actual beds vs bunkers and pullouts. "

"I refused to stay at this property, and they said they would give me a refund, but didn't. Really outdated, dirty, don't recommend."

"It was a very nice house , there was a couple things that stood out to me. Cleanliness could’ve been better lots of dust and trash under couches as well as dead bugs. There were some stains on the walls and stains on the sheets. Hair was still in shower drain, there was also a zyn pouch in the pullout couch in living room. The pull out bed in living room wouldn’t pull out , there wasn’t a welcome tray like it said in the book. Power also went out randomly the two days we were there as well as a clicking in the can lights by the coffee maker and coffee maker would only work sometimes. The tv downstairs unfortunately didn’t work either. It really was a nice house and I would stay again but I definitely think cleaning and electrical should be checked. I definitely think a grill should be added so customers could have a cook out with their stay! Overall I was mostly satisfied and thank you for your historical beauty of a home"
