Ramspau was awarded a gold medal in Bavaria in 2005 in the competition "Our village should become more beautiful, our village has a future" The Ramspau forest and pond estate is about 15 kilometers north of Regensburg. The idyllic location on the banks of the rain enables swimming, boating and fishing. The extensive forests invite you to go hiking and horseback riding, mountain biking or other outdoor activities. From the small quiet place you are quickly in Regensburg, which offers a wealth of sights with its medieval old town and invites you to stroll. The old town of Regensburg has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006\. The Upper Palatinate also has many "treasures" worth seeing beyond its capital. Hiking by bike, boat or even horse is also becoming increasingly popular. Horse lovers can bring their horse with them and keep them in the stable for the duration of the holiday. Der Gastgeber kann gar nix dafür!Einmalige Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer auf den Fluss.Die Ferienwohnung grenzt direkt an der nächsten Ferienwohnung. Mit einer Tür. Bei uns waren nebenan im der Ferienwohnung Montagearbeiter. Kein Problem, nur stehen die sehr zeitig auf, ich möchte im Urlaub ausschlafen, man hört schon sehr deutlich den Nachbar. Auch, ich Fenster auf beim schlafen, er, sehr zeitig draußen am rauchen, und in mein Schlafzimmer. Trotzdem sehr schöne Ferienwohnung ,sehr gut ausgestattet. Küche alles da, was man braucht. Alles nötige für einen schönen Aufenthalt ist da. Zum Ausspannen und Baden hervorragend geeignet. Besonders hat den Kindern die Möglichkeiten zum Paddeln ( Kanu kleines Boot ,SUP) und Schwimmen gefallen, auch mit dem Tischtennis konnte man gut Zeit verbringen.unser Gadtgeber hat uns sehr nett empfangen und warfür Fragen immer erreichbar. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber die Lage! Man schaut aus dem Fenster und genau auf den Fluss. Gerade am Morgen fand ich es wunderschön, bei ersten Kaffee schon die Schwalben, Enten, Fische und manchmal sogar einen Biber, zu beobachten. Auch in der Umgebung kann man einiges unternehmen. Wir hatten zwar mit dem Wetter Pech und wollten nicht im Fluss baden oder Boot fahren, dafür haben wir aber die Sauna (im August !) genutzt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war auch problemlos und nett. ##### Birgit W. Von dort sind wir zu all den versteckten Orten aufgebrochen: Cham, Falkenstein, Regen, Grafenau, Passau, Straubing… alles Orte, an die man sonst nicht kommt. Die Wohnung im Forsthaus war sehr schön und kann nur empfohlen werden. Beim nächsten mal bleiben wir länger und genießen eher die nähere Umgebung und den schönen Garten! Die Obergeschosswohnung war komplett ausgestatteten mit allem was man zum Leben so braucht, ruhig am Wasser gelegen (wobei das Hundebaden auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite besser klappt, dort geht es sehr flach ins Wasser) und vor allem mit viiiiieeeellll Natur in der Umgebung! Wir empfehlen das Forsthaus gerne weiter! Beste Grüße aus Magdeburg! Wir konnten 10 Tage Anfang Mai in Ramspau verbringen. Besonders wichtig war es uns mit unseren beiden Labradors zu verreisen. In der großzügigen Wohnung war ausreichend Platz für uns vier. Toll war, dass von der Terrasse gleich eine große Wiese weitergeht und die Hunde ausreichend Platz zum spielen und herumtollen hatten. Direkt hinter der Wiese geht auch gleich der Wald los, in dem wir viele ausgedehnte Spaziergänge gemacht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns ganz besonders für die Gastfreundliche Aufnahme von Mensch UND Tier! Schloss Ramspau ist einen Besuch auf jeden Fall wert! This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Rudolph R., Rostock 6 Apr 2013 #### Urlaub im schönen Regental Wir waren schon einmal im Regental (Nittenau) und haben uns der Bilder wegen für die Gutsverwaltung in Ramspau entschieden. Der Ort liegt sehr schön an den Fluss geschmiegt, herrliche Landschaft und nach Regensburg ist es nicht zu weit. Unsere Wohnung (im ersten Stock des Forsthauses) war sehr gepflegt, alle Dinge des Täglichen Lebens waren vorhanden, einkaufen kann man im Nachbarort. Das Haus ist angenehm ruhig gelegen und von einem schönen Garten umgeben. Schwimmen konnten wir leider nicht mehr, dafür haben wir noch sonnige Stunden auf den Liegestühlen verbracht. Aber weder mein Mann noch ich sind begeisterte Saunagänger. Fazit: Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem sehr schönen Ort, angenehme Vermieter und ein erholsamer Urlaub! Sie haben die Bewertung mit 5 Sternen auf jeden Fall verdient. Wir haben viele Ausflüge nach Regensburg und in den Bayrischen Wald unternommen, von Ramspau aus ist alles sehr gut zu erreichen. This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent 8 Jul 2011 #### Erholsame Tage im Regental Zusammen mit einigen Freunden haben wir dieses Jahr einen Urlaub geplant und sind bei fewo auf das Forsthaus gestoßen. Da wir 6 Personen waren war eine Wohnung allein zu klein. Leider waren Ost- und West-Wohnung schon belegt. Der Vermieter hat uns aber gleich seinen "Langbau" angeboten. Die Wohnung ist zwar nicht am Fluss gewesen, sondern in einem Nebengebäude des Schlosses, hat dafür aber eine Große Terrasse mit riesiger angrenzender Wiese. Perfekt für alle Sportarten von Fussball bis Badmington! Die Wohnung hatte ausreichend Platz für uns (3 Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder), war sehr gepflegt und sauber und hatte eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche (Spülmaschinen sind in Studentenwohnungen eher selten ;) Wir waren oft am Badestrand des Flusses auf der anderen Dorfseite. Der Fluss war zwar noch ein wenig kalt (19°) aber der Einstieg war recht Flach und angenehm zum gewöhnen :) Sehr nett war auch eine Flasche Rotwein die zur Begrüßung auf dem Tisch stand!!! Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden, allen hat es gut im schönen Regental gefallen und die Wohnung ist nur weiter zu empfehlen! ---
