The best time to visit Redes Natural Park is during the shoulder seasons of spring (May to June) and autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the natural beauty is at its peak.In spring, the park bursts into life with lush greenery and wildflowers, making it ideal for hiking and wildlife spotting. The temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C, great for exploring the many trails without the intense heat of summer. You'll find fewer crowds, allowing for a more peaceful experience.Autumn brings a spectacular display of colours as the leaves change, creating stunning landscapes, especially along the routes near the Nalón River. The weather remains comfortable, usually between 12°C and 18°C, and it's an excellent time for photography and enjoying local produce like mushrooms and chestnuts. Like spring, the park is less busy than in the peak summer months. The summer months (July and August) are also popular, with warmer temperatures (20°C to 25°C) and more sunshine, which is great for outdoor activities. However, it can be busier with holidaymakers, and some trails might feel a bit warm for strenuous hikes.
