Red Tower

Just returned home from a lovely 7 day stay at Concorde De Luxe. Check in was smooth and easy. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The grounds at this hotel are immaculate. Everywhere was clean and well kept. Staff out early mornings cleaning all the walkways. Inside the hotel the same. The food was plentiful and delicious. Now probably the main reason for coming ... the beach and let me tell you the stretch of Lara beach for Concorde De Luxe is absolutely perfect. Beautifully maintained, the water and weather fortunately was perfect for us. Beach Volleyball was good. Fridges on the beach made it real easy to grab cold waters or pop. Towels were easy to get and exchange all day. Plenty of seating on the beach. Good shaded options. If i had to pick on one thing.. the beds could have been a little more comfortable, but I'm not going to knock a star off for that as everything else was more than pleasant! Thanks for a lovely stay, I hope to return again.

The property is outdated and requires refurbishment. Room provided at first had drainage issue with outside light not working. That makes it hazards in dark corner of the property. Second room was good enough but again stairs to room were sloppy making it hazards. We were offered upgrade to room where air conditioning wasn't working properly and noone attended to complaint. The staff are pretty much aware of issues with property especially rooms but not bothered about it especially for customers from Europe as only client base is Russia. All mattresses are of spring and sagging, that makes it uncomfortable. Outdoor pool, beach side area were nice while spa area with hamman is acceptable. Food was good but most sweets were repeated on weekdays and hardly any change. Good thing was that there was 24/7 restaurant. Not going to recommend based on poor quality of rooms.
