We read excellent review about the Oberoi and they responded to all our expectations. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was very attentive to details. We had a wonderful stay overall. The rooms was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Special thanks to the front desk team, who were incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make our family feel at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The hotel setting is amazing, snorkelling and diving are within walking distance The restaurants nearby open on specific days only Beach staff are very helpful,water bottles are in abundance to no need to worry

Excellence service, great food, but alcohol drink seems to be diluted with water that comes with very low alcohol content. Great accessibility to sea with lots of sea life around, love this place overall.

I really love this hotel. It’s so beautiful in a very quiet area of Makadi Bay. My room was huge, and I had a lovely view of the pool. I asked for a quiet room and they gave that to me. I had a few issues but I spoke to Hager (customer relations) and the General Manager and all was resolved quickly and I stayed on two extra days. The food is varied and there is a lot of it. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us and were always smiling from the time we arrived and tears when we left. The diving and snorkelling and private beach was amazing. We had a day on a boat with coraya dive team which are with the hotel we’re great safe and knowledgable regarding the sea life my step daughter was a bit scared but they kept her reassured and looked after her as she swam with the turtles

We had a great stay in Iberotel Makadi beach. The grounds were clean and well kept. The room was clean and pleasant. Staff is friendly and makes you feel at home and the beach/amenities are very good. I recommend this hotel and will be going back again in my next visit to Egypt

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay. Having read about 5* hotels in Egypt being a big over claim, we were preparing ourselves expecting the photos to have flattered the place, assuming it would be a bit tatty, not necessarily perfectly clean, boring food and maybe a patchy level of service. Nothing could have been further from the truth, it was SUPERB. Add to that all the staff were warm and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. We seemed to be the only English family in the hotel, which I have never experienced...

Great hotel

Great holiday could not fault anything would recommend a stay you won't be disappointed. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, great choice of food, local alcohol but branded sort drinks, private beach and lagoon great for snorkelling, main pool for activities and slide pool for kids and adults also a relax pool overlooking the sea.

We booked a weeks break with another couple, it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was excellent. The food was great and also the themed restaurants were excellent especially the Alexandria. Kareem who worked on the 24hour lobby bar was funny, very polite and looked after us.

I loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff (Emad, Ehab and Elia at the pool) and Ahmed and Eva in the restaurant. The treatment of Othman the receptionist is excellent..... I do not recommend using the spa because the staff is very bad and the price list is not fixed. The hotel is close to the airport and you do not need to leave the hotel, it is a paradise
